CHAPTER 29

Jessica found herself, seated before Jason.

Jason glanced at her with a furrowed brow, he kept a serious demeanor.

The flickering candles light casting a soft glow on their faces. He couldn't shake the feeling of discomfort that settled in the pit of his stomach.

Jessica's with a bright smile on her face and cheerful demeanor, she was desperately interested in making him love her again.

Jason called the waitress to come take their orders, and after a few moments, the waitress came back placing what they ordered before them.

“Jessica, What do you want and why were you so eager to see me,” Jason asked with his brow raised.

Jessica tried hard to swallow what was in her mouth, but it choked her and she quickly reached out to grab the glass of water in front of her, gulping it at once.

She coughed hard, using her left hand to tap her chest repeatedly, Jason didn't make a move or even care about what she was going through.
