CHAPTER 76

Jason’s eyes fluttered open as he slowly sat up with a sharp pain throbbing in his head, causing him to wince and clutch his temples.

“What…. Where am I? What is happening.” He whispered to himself, while his eyes moved around the room leaving him speechless. He knew something was not right about the room.

The room was small and filled with scents of leaves and an herbal mixture, his gaze fell on the leaves placed close to the bed and a small fire burning by the side of the house.

He swung his legs over the edge of the wooden bed and planted his feet on the cold floor, his head swimming with dizziness with each step he took. He navigated his way towards the door and moved sluggishly while placing his hand on the wall for support.

He was shirtless, but he managed to grab a big shirt he saw at the entrance of the door and wore it.

He struggled to push the door open, and Jason stepped out into the crisp morning air. His senses were overwhelmed by the sights and sounds of his surroundings
