A CLASH OF LOVERS

CHAPTER 46

The hospital was buzzing with activity as Allen Moore was rushed in through the main doors on a stretcher, struggling for her life.

Desmond was fuming and full of anger whilst Bella was overwhelmed with agony. The Moore's were generally not doing great.

“You brought this upon us Bella,” Desmond groaned. “I still do not understand where we got it wrong with you.”His eyes were furious.

“Just pray nothing happens to your mother,” Desmond warned his daughter, “because if anything terrible becomes of her, you will never smell my countenance any more.”

Bella sniffed and wept, drenched in her own tears. Her heart was heavy. She could tell that her family was tearing apart.

Allen had been wheeled into the emergency section. She could barely breathe and she was struggling for her life.

“The doctor needs your attention sir,” one of the nurses said. Desmond saw worry written all over her face.

“Is my wife okay?” He asked while running after the nurse whose pace was too fast.
