It was the heat of the party and the noise from the crowd hid Bella and her intentions.

The strange woman put the bangle on Bella's wrist, adjusting it to fit her perfectly.

Then she smiled.

“You are all set. Go ye now and destroy their lovely and prideful acknowledgement.”

“You are sure that this would not kill her? I don't want to be responsible for her death.” Bella's was a bit anxious.

“I give you my word. She will react in an embarrassing way to the effects of it after which she will likely faint. But after a few hours, she will be just fine. Maybe dizzy but fine.”

The woman's confidence was enticing but Bella was still not convinced. She asked further.

“Not that I care if she is dead or alive but I just need to be sure that she does not die at my hands. So, I would like you to assure me one more time that this would not prompt death.”

“I mean, how else do I need to convince you? Would you like to try it first?” The woman asked with a mischievous grin.
