Jim’s arms were still bleeding, so he couldn’t run fast, either. A lot of thoughts ran through his mind.What if some door were to open now, forcing him to fight again? A few hours later.Jim’s injuries healed, but he was feeling weak and hungry. This was similar to the feeling of tiredness and muscle stiffness and soreness one would expect after doing intense workouts. However, the difference was that there was no satisfaction involved in this case.“This must be the side effects of the nanobots working a lot,” Jim muttered under his breath.[Well, they use the electricity in your body to run, so it puts a strain on your mitochondria.] Joe said. [Once the cells get burned a lot, the effect will reach your brain, too, and you’ll feel mentally drained. After resting for an hour, Jim trained for the next few hours, taking short intervals in between.Ronny couldn’t believe how Jim was able to work so much. “I’m feeling so hungry even though I barely worked, but how’s he able to work out so much and not complain about hunger? Just what is with this guy? He’s able to get the master key, and he’s also not afraid of being in the same room as this robot. He’s definitely not your ordinary guy. The gorilla was very big in size, but it was also quite fast. With a single leap, its face was almost in front of Jim, and it tried to grab him with its hand.Jim jumped forth and raised to the level of the gorilla’s head. He thrust his right hand forth like a spear. “Hundred Pound Spear Shock!”The vivre concentrated at the tip of his hand and sharpened into a spear that propelled forth at a great speed and struck the gorilla’s face in between the eyes.The gorilla screamed in pain and quickly covered its face with its hand.“I don’t see any blood. The room number that Jim ran into was 999, the one with a metal door. It wasn’t right next to number 1000.Ronny entered the room very soon, but then his heart almost exploded when he saw what was a ten-foot-tall gray werewolf, eating from a dog’s corpse, slurping its intestines as if they were noodles.But after seeing the humans, it growled and tossed the dog corpse away.“Run,” Jim said.He didn’t need to say that because Ronny also started running.The werewolf immediately got onto all fours and was ready to leap at Jim. His instincts told him that it would easily be able to chase them unlike the gorilla, so instead of showing his back, he jumped at him at first and threw his fist. “Bone Breaking-”The werewolf immediately howled, sending an air blast that sent Jim flying out through the door.The werewolf was coming out, but Ronny immediately shut the door. Ronny was in the running mode as Jim opened the door, but his body language completely changed after seeing that there was no beast inside the room. In fact, there was nobody in the room, except that it was full of cylinders fixed to the walls. There were also beds and television.“Whoa…” Ronny entered the room and shut the door. There was even a red carpet on the floor. There were small bulbs glowing and lighting the room, so it looked beautiful. “I was not expecting there’d be a room like this.”“We’re going to be staying here for a while…” Jim touched one of the cylinders. There were seven cylinders inside, but these cylinders were almost thrice as big as the one he had used before.“What are those cylinders for?” Ronny asked.“It’s something that will help me with my cultivation,” Jim said.“Cultivation? Almost three days later.At Spring hospital.“It has been seven days. Why isn’t she waking up?” Lola looked really worried as she asked the doctor.“Don’t worry, ma’am. Her brain readings show signs of improvement,” the doctor told her. “She’s going to wake up soon. At worst, it’ll take another week.”“Are you sure?”“Yes, you should trust me.”After the doctor left, Marc looked at Lola. “I don’t think we should trust this doctor. Why don’t we take her to another hospital then?”Lola frowned. “Get a copy of the medication they’re using for Rena.
