Almost three days later.

At Spring hospital.

“It has been seven days. Why isn’t she waking up?” Lola looked really worried as she asked the doctor.

“Don’t worry, ma’am. Her brain readings show signs of improvement,” the doctor told her. “She’s going to wake up soon. At worst, it’ll take another week.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes, you should trust me.”

After the doctor left, Marc looked at Lola. “I don’t think we should trust this doctor. Why don’t we take her to another hospital then?”

Lola frowned. “Get a copy of the medication they’re using for Rena. I’ll contact other hospitals and ask if there’s anything wrong with the medicine she’s being given or not.”

“I don’t think that’s a good idea. Different hospitals give different medication, so they’ll most likely disagree with this hospital’s report.”

Lola’s frown deepened. “Then what the hell are we supposed to do?”

“Either shift her to another hospital, or wait.”
