“By money, we meant gold. Gold coins. Only those are accepted as currency on this floor,” the man with the car explained with a smile that showed all his front yellow teeth. He was not pleasant to look at, and the smell these three men gave off was far from good.

Ronny remained silent, so the three men didn’t quite understand what his intentions were. Did Ronny want to stay at the hotel without paying anything?

“We have gold bars,” Jim said.
