Many years ago, one of the competitors of Drake’s restaurant sent food inspectors to get the restaurant items inspected all of a sudden.They claimed that they received reports of the restaurant mixing hallucinogenic drugs in minute quantities in the foods they made, which was causing the customers some issues in their daily lives. Because Jim put energy into his fist, it caused disturbance in Doug’s stomach. A five-floored fort built in a two acre region was where Nexa lived. The fort walls themselves were fifteen feet tall, and there were gargoyle statues sitting on the wall. It seemed like these statues were looking right at the people passing by. They were intimidating to say the least.Ronny felt his soul shaking as he passed by because these statues emanated such a cold energy. Even Doug felt goosebumps all over.Jim, however, looked unaffected by these statues or the stares that he kept receiving from many women. “What?” Jim completely lost her for a second. She didn’t seem to move an inch, but she somehow vanished from his sight. This has never happened to him before, so his heart skipped very much.“Are you surprised by just this much?” Nexa flashed right before his eyes again, looking amused. “And you think you can beat me? Joker tossed a small rubber ball into the distance. The dog quickly caught the ball and brought it over.“Good boy,” Joker flicked his wrist, and the rubber ball turned into a raw chicken thigh. He tossed it into the distance. The dog ran and quickly caught it and began to eat it. “I just called you good boy, but look at you betraying my expectations. This is why I hate making friends.” He waited until the dog finished eating. And then the dog once again returned to him. He kept staring down at the dog as if he was looking at someone that betrayed him. “My lord,” Melina hurriedly went over to check Nexa’s condition.Nexa was coughing crazily. She also looked like she was going through a brain fog because Jim’s vivre had messed up with her mind. His hand imprints were clearly visible on her throat.But Melina was glad that nothing happened to Nexa. She stood in between Jim and Nexa now, taking another knife out of her hidden pocket.“You want to die for that woman?” Jim asked her. His face had bruises and was bleeding from his forehead, but he didn’t care about that at this moment. “Then so be it!” he didn’t have the time to waste. He wanted to kill Nexa before she could stand on her feet.
