CHAPTER 20

A medium-sized bucket full of water surely should have done the job of disturbing her sister and brother-in-law, whatever they might be doing under the darned blanket.

However, nothing happened.

There was no movement from the two souls currently under the blanket, which completely boggled Shiney’s mind.

“What the hell? Are they both dead-drunk or something?” She tried to pull the blanket, but it was completely tucked under their bodies, and so it didn’t make it any easier for her to succeed in her mission.

Moreover, she just noticed that some of the water fell on the divorce documents.

“Oh, no!” she hurriedly picked the documents off the floor. She checked for signatures. After not finding them, she threw the documents away. Her sister was still under the blanket. “Rena, will you stop whatever you’re doing and show me your face?”

“Shiney, how was your night with Solomon?” asked Rena.

Shiney gritted her teeth. “I didn’t even meet him. He didn’t even come to our house.”
