Jim did not move a muscle as the highly-concentrated sound wave came at him in the blink of an eye.It went right through him and then went on to destroy many walls and buildings behind him in a straight line. There was never a question about it.There was just no way Jim would work with the eight evil tribes, especially knowing that these people had no problem eating human flesh. On top of that, Jim realized that Stanley was part of them. He could guess that the woman who seemed to have ordered Stanley that day must also be part of the eight tribes. These were both people who hurt him and Rena and almost killed them. How could he ever forgive them for what they did? “Ten Thousand Pound Fist!” Jim’s fist screamed through the air as it viciously flew toward Jeremy.Jeremy unsheathed his sword with reverse grip and blocked the punch. However, it was stronger than he thought, and his feet slid backward. “Kugh,” he frowned visibly.There was so much raw power in that attack. Jeremy felt like it was a punch that could kill an elephant in one blow. He didn’t like the fact that Jim could exert such force even without needing to use vivre.“SKY POUND!” Jeremy released energy through his sword that rippled through the air and resisted Jim.Unlike Jim’s attack, Jeremy’s attack used vivre and released constant pulses of energy, which eventually added up and managed to push Jim back.Jim landed on his feet, but Death Knight attacked him from behind with a punch. “Sound Fist!”Jim didn’t even look back but put his left hand under his right armpit and shot an electric bolt through his finger. “I’ll break that sword of yours first!” Jim thrust his vivre-sharpened hands at Jeremy incessantly. “Thousand Pound Spear Shock Barrage!”Each strike had so much precision and power that Jeremy’s sword vibrated upon impact, and the vibrations were felt even through Jeremy’s arms and whole body. He tried to resist it with his vivre, but Jim’s power somewhat bettered him. “Krgh, how annoying.” He used his ‘Sky Pound’ technique to defend himself from the attacks, but that didn’t stop Jim, and he could hear the sound of clashing slowly change. Doug watched with his mouth wide open as Joker was able to fight both Death Knight and Moonbreaker at the same time. “I-I had no idea he was this strong.”“If not for Bloody Corpse, he would have long gone to the third floor,” Ace opined. “If you ask me, I think Lord Joker can even stand his ground against Jeremy, though he might not win because his battle style is not consistent. Everybody on the second floor was preparing for the monster wave. Many villains from the third floor were watching on their laptop and television screens to see how the monster wave assault would turn out this time because the top ranker Jeremy had died.“I can’t believe that guy defeated Jeremy,” Little Nightmare was sparring with her sister.
