“You’re not going to put your foot on the ground again, Jim,” Tenzin pulled Jim’s body with the help of her soul-pulling pot.She then thrust her trident at him while spinning it. “Heaven Breaker!”Jim forced himself to maneuver through the midair and dodged the trident before punching at the pot. “Soul Breaking Fist!”It felt like hitting a strong force that repelled him. He pushed it back and managed to put cracks on the pot.The cracks soon spread, and the pot broke into bits.She twisted her wrist and bent it so that the trident now flew at Jim again. He blocked it with his bare palm. A layer of spiritual vivre repelled the spear, making it bounce out of her hand.Tenzin grabbed the air and conjured a scarf-like cloud, which grew in size and swiftly wrapped itself around Jim’s body and then went onto wrap itself around his throat and squeezed him.“HAA!” He howled, and his sheer roar was able to make the cloud scarf disperse and fade away. Both were attacking each other viciously, but neither of their attacks quite damaged the other.“Crescent Demon Kick!” Tenzin crafted a crescent-shaped kick that Jim deflected, which then went on to cut through clouds for miles in the path.“Dual Meteor Blitz!” Tenzin backed it with a chain of punches that were destructive and hot enough to erase district-sized lands from the face of the earth.Jim tanked these heavy-handed punches without even using vivre. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to use vivre but just that he couldn’t.However, now that Tenzin’s attacks turned from being cold to hot, this helped Jim steadily regain his ability to use vivre.Like a volcano bursting out at once, Jim unleashed vivre attacks one after another.“Ethereal Monkey Barrage!”“Celestial Phoenix Whip!”“Million Pound Spear Shock!”All these attacks didn’t just trouble her but made her bleed. Then again, Shiney might give you a different answer depending on the mood she’s in when you ask her.
