CHAPTER 49

Jim didn’t specifically cook anything for himself. He simply blended some greens and drank the juice. The drink recovered his lost vitality after the three-hour long intense workout.

As Jim was going out of the house, Shiney was standing by the Lamborghini as if she was waiting for him. She kept spinning the keys around her forefinger. “Where are you going? Want me to drop you off?”

Jim would be lying if he didn’t want to feel this luxury car, but he knew that Shiney was a reckless driver, so he said, “No. I have my skates.” After crossing the gate, he put his rollerblades on and cruised down the street.

Shiney came out the gate and saw him leave in a flash. “It always looks so cool. I tried learning how to rollerblade, but it was scary.” After she bruised her elbows and head a few times, she quit. “He’s lucky to have learned them when he was young.”

After entering another street, Jim somewhat slowed down and went at a steady speed. With wind blowing in his hair, it was the nicest fee
