CHAPTER 60
At five o’clock in the evening.

Not a single soul had been called inside, and Jim was so frustrated he started laughing all of a sudden, making the others wonder if he had gone crazy because Jim wasn’t even looking at a mobile or a tablet.

After waiting for more than two hours, doing nothing but watching garden lizards and squirrels roam about on the lawn, Jim long reached his limit. The only difference was that instead of crying he was laughing, so as to not look pathetic.

Jim was someone who avoided queues, whether it be at supermarkets or polling stations, but now, he couldn’t avoid the slow torture. He very much wanted to leave, but because Julia and Daniel were also involved in the issue, he swallowed his frustrations.

After laughing long enough to release his negative emotions, Jim suddenly went calm as a church mouse. This behavior also seemed weird to others around him. A couple of them couldn’t wait anymore and left.
