CHAPTER 66

Marc didn’t go out alone in the car but took Shiney with him. It was actually Shiney who wanted to ride the car at night, but Lola wouldn’t agree to that, so Marc had to take permission from Lola.

After driving for a while, they bought ice creams and had a great time before returning home at around one o’clock in the night.

To Shiney’s surprise, Jim was talking with some stranger—Jim’s bodyguard in disguise—outside the gate. Seeing them, Jim came and opened the car door.

“Thanks,” Shiney said and stepped out. She lifted up the keys in her hand. “Want to go for a ride?”

“I don’t think so,” Marc quickly came and pulled the keys out of her hand before parking the car inside the house and then told Jim and Shiney to come inside as he needed to properly close the gates and switch on the alarm system in case some thieves tried to break in and steal the car.
