Jade the Conqueror

Chapter 1 : The Beginning

Catastrophic Destruction descended on the Great Nation of the Shirlian as they battled against the Forces of the Unknown, Bloods stained the soil of the Empire as hundreds of thousands of Lifeless bodies littered.

Gnashing of teeths and tears filled the air and so does clashing of weapons, The ground of the Empire cracked and hundreds of Masked men fought against the Unknown of the Darkness, Warriors risen from the vast realm of Darkness.

At the top of the Great Mountain which served as a Communication ground for the people, Two Mighty Beings clashed with their mighty powers, One was putting on a red masked and he seems to be dominating.

" Jade stop this madness, All this killings won't take you anywhere " The man said as the Red masked warrior laughed out.

" The Destruction of this wretched Empire will do my good, The Vragon Clan is gone because of them, Father is dead, Mother is dead...They will all burn " The Red Masked being stated as he revealed the dark Left Eye.

" And Brother, You will watch as I burn this world to its ashes " The Red masked being stated as both figures clashed against eachother, which caused the Destruction of the Great Mountain as Lightning strucked down the sky.

The Destruction of the Shirlian Empire, The Destruction of the Vragon Clan....

Why don't we start from the beginning were all this things started, A world were peace was taking its toll on the world, Empire's were at peace and not wanting to instigate wars that will cause casualties.

Villages living their great lives until the day, The Great Armageddon War Began!

The ground vibrated, the battle cry of warriors filled the woods as Hundreds of furious horsemen, Amped with their blades chased after hundreds of Black armoured warriors who were running towards them.

" Attack!!!! " A voice roared amidst the warriors dressed in red armour, Both sides clashed with their weapons ready to attack, Screams filled the air as The red armoured warriors were killing their attackers without mercy.

The odds were in their favor, Arrows were both unleashed from both sides as Horsemen fell down dead from their horses, The Black armoured warriors screamed out as they rushed into the battle field with all they had.

The swords clinging sounds filled the air as the battle continues, Screams and wails were the order of the day, bloods flowed like a river and heads rolled on the floor, The black warriors were been slaughtered like fowls.

The battle became intense, Warriors on both sides were been stabbed and beheaded without mercy, Suddenly a man dressed in red armour walked out of the place he has been watching the battle all this while.

His auras caused everyone to stop and faced him, The Black armoured warriors slowly approached him with their bloody blades ready to kill, The man smiled as he slowly approached the Black armoured warriors without fear.

" Who is your leader? " The man asked with smiles on his face.

" I am the commander, Who are you? " A man spoke out from the midst of the black warriors, the black warriors created path for him to approach this Unknown being who just stood there unfazed with all eyes on him.

" I am Drio James, the leader of the Vragon Clan...The Vragons and your people have been attacking each other for minutes and I am getting tired of it " The being known as Drio James answered with his face still filled with smiles.

" And why are you telling us this? " The commander asked with his voiced filled with anger, He slowly approached the Drio which caused the Vragon warriors to sharpen their swords to attavk when ordered.

" I can see you all want war right? But I am not in the mood for wars and I dislike intruders, I will kindly ask you to take you warriors and leave in peace " Drio James said, The commander smirked and he spat on the Drio's face.

" My answer is No " The Commander said.

" You just made a wrong decision " Drio James whispered and he mysteriously severed the commander into pieces with his sword, The Black warriors charged at him with all they got and that made the Drio to smile.

" This is fun " Drio James muttered and his eyes glowed, He leapt high and landed in the midst of the Black warriors, He stabbed the ground with his sword which created a shock wave which sent every black warrior crashing.

He beheaded three warriors with just a swing of his sword, He evaded the incoming sword attack and he stabbed the warrior with his sword, Striking them all with his sword, It took him two minutes before all black warriors were slained.

He scanned the entire woods with his eyes to see that there is no black warrior around and he smiled, He stamped his foot hard on the ground and it caused an earthquake, the ground swallowed all the dead warriors before closing up.

Drio James faces the Vragon warriors and he smiled, Sheathed his sword back on his back, The Vragon warriors climbed down from the horses and they bowed before their Chief, The Vragon warriors of the dark.

NOTE: THE LEADERS OF THE CLANS ARE CALLED A DRIO, EACH CLAN WORSHIPS A DIETY WHICH GRANTS THEM POWERS AND THE VRAGONS HAS THE POWERS OF NATURE AND THE ARTIFACTS OF DARKNESS.

" Drio James, It's a great honor to see you " The Captain in charge of the battle spoke up after meeting the great Drio James, The warrior who fought a demon two hundred years ago, James has been a Drio for more than three hundred years.

" The honor is mine, who are this warriors I just killed? " Drio James asked immediately, Two warriors brought his clean white horse and he climbed it immediately, He scanned the premises again and again.

" They are the Bongul Clan, they have always been trying to reach the artifacts, They sent three warriors who sneaked into our clan but we have them in our custody " The Captain answered and James smiled.

" Very good then, bring the two before me when arriving at the palace, I need to get going warrior " Drio James said and he kicked his horse making his horse to start running towards the Clan, The Clan is been covered with a barrier that only a Vragon warrior can enter.

Drio James rode his horse straight into the Gates with ten warriors following him from behind, He passed through the markets and the villagers waved at him, It is a rule that every Vragon member must be a warrior; including women.

He is greeted by every being in the Clan as he approached the Palace, It took him two minutes before he could get to the Palace, He climbed down from his horse and the servants took the horse to it's ranch.

The guards and the maids fell on their knees Immediately his feet touched the floors, He is the most powerful warrior in the entire Empire and that's what makes him to be more unique, A three hundred and twenty years old being with sixty martial arts skills.

Two guards opened the castle door for the Drio, immediately the door is opened, Two little kids rushed and hug James and that made him to smile, he lifted them up, twins and they were six years old.

" Daddy is home, What did you bring for us daddy? " One of the twins asked as The Drio slowly took them to the living room, He sat down on the chair before him with his two children on him and that made him happy.

" Awwww Jade and Jace, I didn't bring you anything today... Daddy was having fun with the bad guys " James spoke out, Immediately his wife emerged from the stairs with smiles plastered on her face.

" My Love, you are back? " Lady Rhea asked in happiness, She happily sat beside James and kissed him on the lips before the twins interuppted their deep romantic kiss, They were just chuckling.

" Father, tell us a story " Jade demanded happily.

" Yes tell us a story, mommy stories are boring " Jace said with an innocent smile, James lifted his children up and he placed them on his lap, He has too many exciting stories to tell them and there is one special.

" Let me tell a story about Alumod the Conqueror, Once upon a time, Kingdoms declared wars on other villages, hundreds of thousands of lives were lost and more were still dying, Until the day the gods created Alumod the Conqueror "

" Empowered by the five stars of light and darkness, He stopped wars upon wars and mind controlled every kingdom and he forced them to love eachother, He defeated the cause of the wars and hatred which were the Seven Demons of Terror...."

" Alumod got the title Conqueror because of the countless wars he conquered without any help, He became the only man to master the twelve ancient techniques of Deception and he forever remained a Conqueror........"

" That's it, The end " James said and the twins opened their mouth in shock, They always loved their father's stories instead of their mother's, she always talks about things that are not fantastic enough.

" But...but papa, is Alumod alive? " Jade asked.

" No one knows that my son, Alumod is my ancestor and he is also your ancestors my sons, Our family are gifted and that makes us special, We are naturally born warriors and mages and it's left for us to choose the oath we would follow " James said.

" Thanks papa, the story is amazing...Alumod the great, Alumod the powerful, Alumod the Conqueror " The twins said and they giggled happily, James faced Rhea and he pecked her on the cheek and he smiled.

" Is this Alumod a fairytale or just your imagination Honey? " Rhea asked with smiles plastered on her face.

" Of course not, Alumod is my ancestor and he is not dead, No one knows his whereabouts, He is the First Conqueror and will be the only Conqueror " James said and they both laughed, just then a teenage boy walked in with a sword in his hand.

" Greetings father, when did you return? " The boy asked, known as the next Drio, Craig has been training to master his skills and powers in other to become a better Drio like his father, He is a sixteen years old warrior.

" I returned an hour ago, son, How is your training? I hope you are perfecting your skills " Drio James said and Craig nodded with smiles on his face, He went and lifted up baby Jade up and he smiled.

" I have mastered my sword fifth skills of the Sharinron, and besides I want us to train father, I want to spawn with you father " Craig said, James stared at his wife who gave him a go ahead, Immediately he stood up to train his son.

The door opened up and two commanders walked in and bowed before the royalties, Drio James frowned at them before giving them the go ahead to talk, He just stood there waiting for the news.

" We have the black warriors in the throne room your grace, The council are demanding your presence before them " the first commander voiced out, James heaved and Craig sadly waited behind.

" Son, follow me to the throne room...It's time I fully introduce you to the Vraon's council as my Heir " Drio James stated and that word brightened up Craig's face as he leapt high in excitement and followed his father out.

Immediately James and Craig left for the Throne room, Rhea took the already sleeping Jace up to his bedroom, leaving Jade alone in the living room, Jade looked up into the sky and his eyes glowed before returning back to its normal color.
