Chapter 10: Tournament Continues

Drio Konin and Drio Votex entered into the rings with smiles on their faces, This time more of the highly respected families joined the spectators, The Families of the Council Members and so on were present.

Who would dare want to miss the tournament of the Drios, Only the most highly ranked families are permitted to watch the tournament as it progress, Princess Layla could be seen holding Jade's hands as they watched.

" Are you two ready? If so...Let the battle Begin " The Judge said,

The Drios positioned themselves well for the battle, Votex brought out his sword from his shealth and he positioned it for battle, Konin brought out his kunai knifes ready for the battle with smiles on his face.

" This will be a tough battle you know, For an outstanding Ninja Warrior, It will be a great shame to defeat you Konin " Drio Votex voice out and that made Konin to chuckle deeply, Votex is right...It will be a great shame.

" And I ain't ready to give up to you just yet " Konin stated and he dashed at Votex, He directed his sharp Kunai knifes aiming for the neck and Votex dodged it before landing a blow to the stomach of Konin.

" Arrgggghh " Konin coughed out, He welcomed another disastrous kick which caused him to collapse on the floor, Votex proudly aimed his sword at Konin but Konin disappeared and appeared behind Votex.

After noticing this, Votex made to turn and strike with his sword but it is too late, Konin landed a brute punch to the chin of Votex, He dodged the kick of Votex, he immediately grabbed Votex leg and tossed him hard on the ground.

He tossed his Kunai knifes at Votex but Votex evaded it smoothly, He grabbed his sword and stabbed Konin in the stomach, He unleashed a plasma blast which blasted Konin to the end of the ring.

" You have become so weak of the years Konin, Were is the Ultimate Ninja now? " Votex mocked, He appeared before Konin and raised up his sword to strike Konin down when a powerful force blasted his sword of his hands.

Votex turned back to see Konin standing with smiles on his face, He made to move his body to strike but Konin became much more faster, Konin swiftly appeared before Votex and he unleashed a powerful blast which knocked down Votex.

" You still don't understand do you Votex? I am still the Ultimate Ninja and I ain't losing this match for anyone " Konin said, Votex slowly rised up from the ground and he unleashed a yellow blast beam from his hands but Konin evaded it swiftly.

" You still don't want to learn huh? Let's see how you tank this " Konin said and he unleashed ray laser beams from his index fingers at Votex, Votex conjured a shield to block the attacks while he recovered.

The smokes cleared off and he sensed a presence behind him, Votex turned back to receive a bone breaking punch to his jaw and he crashed down hard on the ground, Konin smiled as he successfully knocked down a Drio.

" ......Eight, Nine, Ten and Drio Votex is knocked out of the tournament and that makes Drio Konin the winner of the match, Both Drio Votex and Drio Obeton will be advancing towards the next round and in three hours time "

" Drio Casa and Drio Unere will be competing against eachother to determine the winner who will advanced with both Drio Konin and Drio Obeton, So get ready " The Judge announced and everyone started leaving the Hall.

" Psst Psst...I have something fun to do " Layla whispered into the ears of Jade, Jade surprisingly faced Layla and he smiled at her, By just staring..You would know that something extraordinary is happening.

" What is it Layla? " Jade asked.

" Why don't we sneak to the village nearby, I have some friends to play with too " Layla whispered and Jade nodded, Jade wanted to tell Jace to follow them but Layla stopped him that she wants it to be only the two of them.

They both skillfully sneaked out of the Castle without anyone noticing, Of course Jade and Layla are both receiving some kind of hot and extraordinary training from their parents and their Masters assigned with their parents.

They sneaked out of the palace without letting the guards notice, They run towards the Village nearby while holding eachothers hands, Jade shockingly grabbed Layla and pulled her to a wall to hide.

Two guards passed through without seeing them because they were hiding, After seeing that the guards were far from them, They continued their journey until they reached the village, getting into the village.

" Is this the village? " Jade silently asked and Layla nodded.

" Yes Jade, The children here are friendly and I want you to meet them, They will be happy to see you " Layla answered and they stood up from the block they were hiding, They could see villagers Moving around happily, Then a ball was tossed at them.

With instinct Jade swiftly punched the ball away.

" Hey what was that for? " Jade angrily asked, He stared at the incoming children who approached them with sticks and canes, You would know that they are bullies by just their appearance.

" Look who's here, Isn't that the beauty and untouchable Emperor's daughter who caused us great pain? " A voice asked from the goons of little kids, They were all smirking at her.

" I believe that she brought her pet dog alongside her and guess what, They will be beaten to pulp today " Another male voice was heard and the goon laughed out loud, The goons were ten and below while Jade and Layla are just six years of age.

" Look we are not here to fight, We just want to..." Layla didn't completely her statement after receiving a brute slap to the chick, She was about falling down when Jade grabbed her and pulled her to himself.

" Oh yes, And the pet dog save the day...If I may ask pet dog, Who are you? " A boy asked, His voice carried authority which means he is the leader of the goon, Curtis is his name...The son of the village Chief.

" My name is Jade and we just came to play, Why did you hit her? " Jade asked angrily, He tightened his fists in anger and Curtis slowly approached him with a club in his hands, He likes fighting dirty.

" You royalties possess me off you know, My father was lashed thirty two strokes of cane because he offered her a food to eat in respect...We are nothing but a dog to you royalties " Curtis said and the goon nodded immediately.

" And I guess you are " Jade stated.

" What did you just say pet dog? "Curtis asked in anger, He slowly hit his club on his palm as an enraged being ready to devour his enemies by unleashing the ultimate Destruction.

" I said I guess you are a dog after all, You are behaving as a Vicious and worthless dog " Jade said, Curtis furiously wanted to hit Jade with his club when he heard a familiar female voice calling out his name.

" Curtis, Curtis..Stop that now " The voice ordered.

Layla's face brightened up immediately she sighted her good friend Emily running towards their direction with her girls behind her, They were running furiously towards them after hearing the news.

" Emily!! " Layla called out of excitement.

" Emily, What are you doing here? " Curtis asked.

" I am to ask you that question as well Curtis, You remember that Emily is my friend and the Princess of this Empire, I heard that you hit her, Is that true? " Emily asked after getting close to them.

" It is one of my guys that hit her and there is nothing you can do about it, And besides don't you remember the sour food we ate just because of the Emperor's soldiers flogging our father? " Curtis asked.

" I know and it is not her fault, Blame it on her cruel daddy Curtis, Don't Force your anger on her next time, Am I clear? " Emily asked and Curtis nodded.

" Who's she? And is she the boss of this Curtis guy? " Jade asked in a whisper.

" She is Emily, the Villager Chief and the youngest but Curtis fears her because of her father, She is a very good friend of mine " Layla whispered back with smiles on her face, Emily slowly advanced towards her and her eyes met with that of Jade.

' Who's this gorgeous boy that is standing beside Princess Layla, I am beginning to like him ' Emily said to herself as she approached the Princess of The Empire with smiles on her face.

" Hi Layla, why did you come visiting today? I am sorry for Curtis behavior " Emily said before bowing her head down for Layla who just stood there smiling sheepishly.

" I just came to play as usual and I came with my friend Jade Vragon " Layla announced and everyone opened their mouths in shock of hearing the word Vragon, Vragon the Destructive Clan.

" Wow Vragon right? Well my name is Emily and I am the last child of this Village Chief, It's an honor to meet you Jade Vragon " Emily said as she stretched forth her hand for a hand shake and Jade shook her hands.

" Vragon huh? What manner of a Vragon are you? A commoner's child, A council meber's child or what? " Curtis asked and Jade smile.

" Curtis? Show the new guests some respect " Emily demanded and Curtis nodded.

" Well I am none of that you just speak of Curtis, I am Jade Vragon, The Son of Drio James of the Vragon Clan and I have a twin brother named Jace " Jade said and everyone except Layla opened their mouths in shock.

" What!!!!!!!!!!! "

" You are...? " 

" I am sorry for what I did to you Jade, Please forgive me and don't tell your father about what just happened, I am sure this Village will be turned into dust, Please " Curtis pleaded, He and his goons fell on their knees immediately.

" Well from the start I wasn't planning on telling my dad anything, He has trained me a little and I was planning on destroying you bullies for hitting layla but as she is fine with it, I will just forget about it then " Jade said and everyone heaved in relief.

" Thank you Jade, So tell us about the Vragon Clan, Is it spooky as they say it is? " One of the girls behind Emily asked.

" Well not really that deadly but it has one rule, You can manage to sneak into the Clan which is impossible to be sincere and if you manage to get it...You will be slaughtered without mercy " Jade said and everyone gasped in shock.

" Just wait until you meet my elder brother Craig, He is a merciless one to be precise, I have watched him countless times behead people " Jade said and the goons started moving back in fear.

" Oh Jade, Stop it...You are scaring them already " Layla said and Jade nodded, Curtis wiped the sweat of his face.

" Welcome to our Village Jade, What may we offer you? " Emily asked with smiles beaming from her face.

" Well the tournament of the Drios will begin very soon and we need to get back, I don't want my father worrying about us then sense my energy here, go back to the see the past and how Curtis hit Layla and then game over...This Village is toast " Jade said and They started sweating again.

" I guess it's time to be going then " Curtis said in fear and Jade giggled, Emily didn't even show a single atom of fear in her expression or beads of sweats appearing on her head and that Attracted Jade to her.

Layla noticed it and swiftly decided to cut it off.

" Let's be going now " Layla said and Jade nodded, They both started moving back towards the Palace unnoticed by the guards or any warrior that is connected to her father or the Ministers.

" Isn't he cute? " Emily asked herself.

" Huh? You mean that Vragon royalty, He is bad news Emily and besides we all know it that Layla loves and she can do anything to keep what she loves, Don't let this your selfish lifestyle be our Doom Emily " Curtis warned ad they advanced into the Village.

" I don't want to betray Emily but I just think he is adorable and cute, I love the way his eyes is, He is so handsome " Emily said to herself but it is loud, Curtis growled angrily after hearing Emily's words.

'  Damnit, Emily is going to be the end of our Village, I need to do something about it ' Curtis said to himself as they continued walking.
