Chapter 22

The next day was Friday and I had classes that day. So I needed to go to school to cover up for everything that had been missed during the time I acquired the system. During that time I've been performing one task and mission to another. It had become a herculean routine and going to school would help reduce it (that's if the system doesn't find a way of screwing me up).

Paulina was still sleeping when I got up to take my bath and dress up. I went to the kitchen to get some food for her and when I came back she was already awake.

"Good morning," she greeted me brightly as she rubbed her eyes slowly. Her expression was duller than usual but I felt it was because of her drowsiness after waking up.

"Morning, Paulina," I said. "How did you sleep last night?"
