Chapter 97: The Mercenary Player

As the man approached us he raised the gun and pointed at us before saying, "No hard feelings but I have to kill you both."

I was very shocked and couldn't even begin to imagine why the man would suddenly decide to attack me. I had saved him at the shopping mall or he would have been killed by the armed robbers. So why was he now coming to attack me out of the blues? Why was he so after me that he wanted to kill me straight away? This was unlike any foe that I've faced. I'd never offended this man so it was really shocking that he was bent on killing me.

"Why are you after my life?" I asked him. I had tried running away from the restaurant so many times but I wasn't able to do it. Anytime I tried to do something like that I would suddenly stop.
