A timid boy with bright blond hair was standing by the table with a large book. He looked nervous and Jed couldn't help but scrutinize his appearance.

Ben repeated his question, "Who are you?"

Before the boy could squeak out, Eric spoke, "Oh, I know you! Aren't you the new boy?"

He still couldn't understand how someone would only just join school when the school session was halfway over. They were already even writing the semester tests.

The boy looked relieved that someone recognized and squeaked out a low voice.

"Yes, my name is Matthew. I'm new here. Can I sit with you?"

There was an empty seat left at the table so Ben motioned for him to sit there. Although he didn't say anything, he still felt wary of the new boy. Call it sixth sense.

"I'm sorry for intruding on your lunch but I'm facing some difficulties with these questions. Could you please help me?"
