Anna and Raven continued with their journey without any hindrance the following morning. They were happy to at least have released their pent-up frustrations. They continued with their journey until Anna managed to see a settlement which met her requirements.

The settlement was situated in a highly dense mana forest and disconnected from the happenings of the outside world. Anna also knew there would be strong monsters in this forest to busy Raven as she turns into a mother.

Anna just hopes this settlement would provide her with the protection she needed until she becomes strong enough to protect her baby and herself.

Drew woke up sweating a lot, he had a dream about one of his escapades with the police. It was not a pleasant dream because he remembered how his trusted ally sold him out.

Since that day he promised to never rely on others for his needs or solutions to his problems. That experience taught him the valuable lesson of self-reliance something most African countries lack.

Drew having nothing to do surveyed the room he laid inside now and was impressed with what he saw. He had not learnt any craftmanship skill in his previous life, but he knew the chairs, table, and any wooden equipment would cause more than a thousand dollars.

He realized the starting point in his current life was going to be quite exciting because his mother was well to do. In his previous life, his starting point was not bad and good it was just middle at best.

 It being middle too was not good because he had to struggle to make ends meet. He did a lot of internet frauds and sold drugs online which push him into the mafia rankings when he gain substantial power.

Drew’s head began to ache a bit when he thought of those past events. He decided to think of something else or just sleep again to relax his nerves. But alas his body thought for him because his stomach was grumbling.

‘I really cannot do the deed of shouting for food; it is so embarrassing.’ Drew thought to himself, he could not scream no matter what. But the grumbling to did not stop so he decided to do what every normal baby would do.

“AAAHHHHHHAHHHHA.” Drew screamed on top of his lungs to attract his mother’s attention and surprisingly it work. Anna was there in less than 3 seconds.

Anna POV

I was eating the meal prepared by Raven and also arguing with her over some nonsensical issues until I heard my baby scream.

“Anna hurry up.” I could hear Raven speak these words to me as I charged into the bedroom. I must say I was running as fast as lightning and having different scenarios pop up in my head.

‘Have we been found out?’

‘Is my baby safe?’

‘Is he alright?’

‘If we have been compromised, where do we go now?’ All these thoughts and many more raced in my head as I charged into the bedroom. At that moment I was amazed at my speed and thought processes because I have never moved as fast as this.

But that was the least of my worries because I thought my baby was in danger, so I release my killing intent unknowingly.

When I got to where Drew laid, I was happy and relieved because I found him safe and trembling slightly. I took him from the baby cradle and began to breastfeed him. I was careful and gentle with him and made sure not do anything that would cause him any suffering.

“Drew you are indeed life and my light in this dark world please never leave my side or do anything that would make me sad.” I kissed Drew whispering what I said into his ears.

Crweek, Crweek, Crweek.

I heard the door opening but decided not to turn because I knew who was behind me. It was non other than Raven. I knew behind her nasty and unpleasant side she also had that motherly love and affection to Drew because she was me.

“Raven he is fine, so please relax and suppress that killing intent, you are making him shake.”

“Ok Anna I would listen to you this once because it is for Drew.” Raven said stroking Drew’s chubby cheeks affectionately.

I and Raven changed Drew’s soiled dress and played with him in the room until we felt his mood elevating a bit. When we saw this, we sent him to the kitchen and continued with our business.

Back To Where We Left Of

The moment Drew saw his mother looking at him he pissed on himself. Her killing intent was like mad, it was too dense. Drew did not want to think about the number of people his mother had killed to gain such a dense killing intent.

He promised himself never to disobey his mother, he was scared shitless by her. But he began to relax when he saw his mother looking at him affectionately and feeding him with care and love.

At that moment he was happy and pleased to have been blessed with a mother like her. He sucked onto her breast with no care in the world until he sensed another killing intent, this time far nastier than his mother’s own.

‘Where the hell have, I been dumped? Drew asked himself while he looked at the new person who entered the room.

And to his surprise it was another person who looked like his mother. Just like his mother, she was beautiful and graceful as her. But that person relaxed when Drew heard his mother speak some words to her.

When they finished speaking, the new woman touched my cheeks loving me and smiled at me. When the misunderstanding cleared, they help removed my soiled clothes and cheered me up the entire day. Drew realize that both of his mothers were strong and most importantly, they loved him.
