While Drew ate his demon meat, he realized his base attributes had increased by a slight nudge. It was not anything significant, but he knew it was a cheap ability. Every monster he killed he absorbed a bit of their soul which then transfers into stats for him.

But Drew knew the laws of diminishing returns. The more you take something from one source the less valuable the thing becomes.

‘It seems I need to hurry and kill a monster stronger than me if I want to rank up faster. And also make sure I am not eaten. But this meat is so fucking sweet I cannot get enough of the sweetness I feel whenever I bite my teeth into it.’

Drew continued to eat the meat of the demon as he recovered from his scars. After an hour his scar where now some roughing’s on his brown skin. But he did not mind the roughings.
