HER BLACK HAIR swayed in the wind and she peered her eyes to stop the poking of wind on her eyeballs. I realized I had done the same too.

“So, how was the day?”

she asked me.

“It was okay.”

I replied. Missed you though. Said my mind.

“Thanks for saving me from Frost today morning.”

I added.

“That was nothing.”

she replied her eyes suddenly fixing to mine.

“I actually have something that I should thank you as well.”

she said

“What?”

I asked

“That day…. For saving my brother’s life. He told me that you were his saviour and it was told ages ago. But I didn’t have time to properly thank you because I was busy.”

she replied her voice soft and mild, as if she was trying to harmonize with the wind.

“That’s nothing. I did what I should do.”

Both of us were silent for a few long minutes and then,

“Today afternoon…”

both of us said together. Roset laughed.

“You go first.”

she said

“What happened today afternoon, I’m sorry for that. I hope you didn’t fall in trouble with Mrs. Blake because of me
