Chapter 27

FYN CLEARED HIS throat not knowing how to start a conversation.

“How were they killed?”

asked Fyn on our way in his car.

“Shot in the head.”

she replied.

“Both?”

asked Fyn again. She didn’t reply instead she nodded; gulping and trying her best to avoid the tears. Fyn asked no more. We all kept silent; me alone in the back of the car.

The crime scenes were extremely pathetic. Both the women lied in the same position on the ground; their hair tussled and their heads drowned in a pool of blood also… with a hole in the head. Roset never showed her tears again instead, she was attentive and examining. She wasn’t even sad.

That day… I realized a thing Fyn told me before, which I didn’t realize back then. What makes the Police, the Intelligence and the Tri-forces different from wrongful is that, our purpose and our good heart.
