Leilani stared at him like he had gone insane. Clearing her throat, she started, "Look, the doctor said you might have sustained a concussion from hitting your head"

Aries didn't blink or say a word as she finished, "You are serious?" her eyes widened. "Why on earth would you want to marry me"

His brows gathered in a frown. She obviously couldn't see his face at the moment as they wrapped it like a ball with bandages and so she blabbed on and on. His mouth hurt too much to speak.

She seemed to have a panic attack and so his eyes followed her, pacing back and forth around the hospital room. As it was the only part of his body that he could move at the moment and wasn't in a cast.

Taking a deep breath, she calmed herself down taking her sit on a seat opposite his bed. "Who did this to you?"

Her voice was calm and composed as she focused on him. "Some girls," he struggled to speak because every time he did, it felt like needles were compressing his rib cage.
