Chapter 15

Mrs Tasha engulfed him in a big hug.

Leading him into the house, he didn't glance at Leilani at all as Tasha greeted her like a sweet mother.

He dropped off the bags on the kitchen counter before going straight to his room to take a shower.

The cold shower eased his temper but not his want.

Aries headed down the stairs as the smell of tasty food filled his nose.

The dining table was huge and filled with a whole buffet.

His hair still dripped wet from the shower. He walked into the kitchen.

"Mrs Tasha need any help?" he humbly asked

"Yes, my boy, help me chop those apples." he helped her prepare the fruit bowl while they discussed cows. Such a weird conversation, but he loved it.

Mrs Tasha seemed to be the easiest person he could speak to since his mom and this made him at ease.

They finished setting the table as Leilani came down the stairs, still toweling her slightly wet hair.

She had on a cream silk nightgown, Aries had to chug down a whole bottle of water at the sight of her.
