Chapter 8 – Convincing him to destroy
Bel vastly approached his tainted lair with Leo’s body strongly held. He flashed into the lair within the blink of one’s eyes and dropped Leo’s body on the ground before transforming into his humanoid figure.“Leo!” The short word escaped his breath as he continuously repeated the name as if it would revive the latter’s limp body.“Leo, don’t die.” He shouted at the limp body while he stood some meter away from it. All he could do now was watch the young man lying limp as he wasn’t aware of any skills, or rather action that would be effective for reviving him. Suddenly, an uncertain ideas struck him like a bolt of lightning and he immediately walked into the further part of the cave, only returning with a small and empty drum some seconds later. He rushed towards the waterfall in front of the lair and fetched until his drum was full.He hastily rushed back to Leo’s limp body and immediately dumped half of the liquid on him. Bel stood still for a minute as he waited patiently for the slightest movement from Leo, but unfortunately, the latter remained stiff.“Don’t do this Leo!” A normal dragon could only careless for the death of their wyrmling, but yet, Bel’s eyes began to gather tears, not because of Leo’s death but however, the achievement that could have came through him. He dumped the last drop of water on the Leo with a bold look of frustration, and proceeded to walk into the dark part of the lair. After some minutes, Leo’s eyes that were tightly closed immediately flickered opened, rhythmically to his body that sat upright.Loud sound of breathing clouded the room as thick sweat appeared on his forehead. He looked around the lair with confusion and began to scan himself by placing his palm on his body.“Am I still alive?” Leo could only mutter under his breath in agape as he stared at the puddle of water underneath his clothes. “Bel!”He jumped up from the ground and vastly headed into the further and dark part of the lair that he’d been restricted from entering since childhood. But unfortunately, since this was Bel’s popular spot he had no choice but to ignore the restriction. When Leo found himself in the darkness, he stretched his palm forward and over a dozen of small-glowing and golden worms appeared few inches off his palm, serving as a means of light for the darkened place.“Bel?” He shouted in the cave with a look that revealed true remorse for his intruding, and curiosity that longed to explore the secret underneath this restricted area.“Leo, Is it really you?” A loud voice resounded in Leo’s head and he subconsciously turned around with his glow-worms that revealed a gigantic black creature, whose head was hidden was hidden in the darkness as the glow from the worms couldn’t comprehend its height.Leo looked startled with the unusual and huger appearance of Bel in his dragon form. Furthermore, there were multiple reddish-brown object that looked similar to a huge stone, with their form picking an exception with its flawless oval shape.“I’ll meet you outside once I’m done with this. Come out now!” Bel’s voice resounded in Leo’s head and he quickly left the dark part into the lit cave that oddly looked smaller in size compared to the other one. After a lengthy period of complete silence, Bel finally came out of the cave in his humanoid form.“Leo! Can you believe that I cried because of you? I just realized that you mean a lot to me.” Leo looked pleased as Bel expressed his feelings with a sincere face. Although his eyes weren’t teary to the least, there was a rush of remorse flooding his outspoken voice. Leo however, had a bittersweet smile that was quickly noticed by Bel.“I know how you feel Leo, sometimes you have to let things go…”“But it can’t be my born right as the elder, it’s my father legacy I’m…”“Your father?” Bel’s face looked displeased with the blubbering words from Leo. He walked towards the latter with a frown and rested his palms unto his shoulders.“I raised you Leo. In fact, you are suppose to acknowledge me as your one and only true father… why didn’t your so called father save you and instead proclaimed you as dead to the villagers. Then what about your so-called brother, he might be aware of who you are, yet, he wanted you..”“Stop!” Leo’s eyes reddened with anger and frustration as his mind already knew where Bel was taking the conversation to and he wanted it interrupted. The cave turned silent immediately, with only the sound of creeping small insect resounding in the room. Some seconds later, Bel mustered a word.“Leo, I can help you to achieve your goal in benefit for both of us. I will support you in reclaiming your title as an elder.”Leo’s face fell directly into the eyes of Bel who had a somewhat demonic smile.“What do you mean?”“I mean that, you could reclaim your title as the elder..”“Well, that is too irrelevant right now. Who want to title as a mere elder anyways.” He sneered in anger and then bent his head to the ground as if he was trying to hid his facial expression.“You’re thinking big ehnn. Now which one is it, destroying the kingdom, or seizing the throne.”A long silence engulfed the room after the statement and Leo finally raised his head upright with a sarcastic grin, “Seizing the kingdom will be too difficult, so I think you now know my answer.”“What’s the first step? Killing that betrayal of a brother.”“I would have, but unfortunately, I’m too weak…”“You’re too weak and yet you’re aiming to destroy the kingdom as a whole.” Bel laughed in bewilderment.“Lucky for you, I have a solution!” As soon as Bel was done speaking, he quickly transformed into his magnificent and true form, although in a smaller version of fit the size of the cave. Leo looked impressed with the sudden statement, but yet he was still left in curiosity to wonder about the unspoken solution. Before he could project any thoughts, a burst of rainbow flames engulfed his within an instant. Luckily, the flames weren’t hurtful but rather tingle. But after a couple of minutes, the sensation drastically changed into a body stinging pain that made him burst into tears.Chapter 9 – What to be alerted of The village of Nonius was in chaos as the gathering of people, including Thomas and his guards ran into different directions to escape the flames from the dragon. After some minutes, Thomas settled down behind a random house with his guards who looked even more scared than him. “That… That was a freaking dragon.” He screamed in fright as if he could see the creature right before his eyes. The guards who had a duty to protect him were even more scared as they shrieked in fright. “And.. I think it wanted to save the impersonator.” The guard suggested with a terrified look. Thomas simply ignored the speech of the guard and began to walk out from the back of the with a serious face. The guards quickly followed after him, still scared of the past incident. ***“Royal highness, I request for a meeting with you and the other council of elders for a very important discussion.” Thomas could be seen standing before a high podium that was mad
Chapter 10 – Elder’s conclusion Thomas arrived at the king’s palace after some minutes of trekking. He immediately made his way into the gigantic throne room. When he opened the huge door, his eyes collided with the heavy eyes of the other elders. “Oh! We’ve been waiting for your arrival. Now you’re here, will you please sit down and recap to them what you told me!” The king who sat on his throne looked amazed as he stared at the latter who had a terrified expression on his face. “Look at his face your majesty, he definitely wants to apologize for that woeful lie.” One of the middle-aged elders jumped up from his seat while pointing his fingers at Thomas with a furious face. The middle-aged man is the elder of the Wisteria village which was in the southeast region of the Redia village as a whole. “I traveled hundreds of miles just to arrive here and hear this vivid lie.” The kingdom of Redia was divided into four major villages and two sub-part. Fortunately, Nonius was the capi

The litters of bloodied corpses on the lane of Nonius triggered certain emotions in almost all the villagers as they cried in agony to the dozens of individuals, some of them being good friends, and others relatives, lying in a shred of their own flesh and blood. It did not take long and Thomas arrived at the scene, looking devastated and scared to the core. “Is this now going to be a daily routine for that dragon,” As he thought out loud, a huge cart transported by a few horses appeared in the area and the guards immediately began to throw the disgusting remains of the corpse into the deep cart. “Only the heavens know what will before the village today.” Amidst his thoughts, a masculine voice thundered into his ears as he abruptly returned

I always trust in your abilities.” Bel freaked out and he jumped restlessly around the lair. Leo’s emotion, however, turned 360 degrees as he suddenly looked unpleased with the entity before his, “This thing looks… dumb. It’s shapeless, and it looks like a clumsy dark cloud…” “Stop your critics, Leo! This look amazing.” Leo nodded in discontent as he looked vexed the more he stared into the creature’s eyes. He quickly disregarded Bel’s words and the floating creature vanished into thin air. “How? By the way, it looks too much like the Darr shadow we fought. I’m not appealed at all!” He complained like a spoilt brat and he stood from the ground looking more furious than a hungry leopard. “That’s why you are still exploring the ability. Did you really expect your first attempt to be crystal perfect?” Bel did not bother the
Chapter 13 – Bringer Of Chaos Bel looked confused as the beast instantly shattered into a pile of green moss. “You looked satisfied?” While he was dazed by the shocking action, Leo looked placid as he sat on the ground into his brief trance of imagination. … “Will you ever get exhausted, you’ve been making dozens of them.” An exhausted voice, similar to that of Bel echoed in the surroundings as multiple creatures of different sizes and shapes assembled around Leo who still sat on the ground in a process of creating more of them. “At least, will your imagination ever dry off? And you should know that making them too large would draw unwanted attention.” After Bel’s almost raging words, the dozens of creatures disappeared into thin air. Leo jumped on his feet with a satisfied smile as his eyes fell upon the sun that was beginning to set. “Unfortunately Bel, I don’t think you’ve ever had this feeling of excitement within me! It’s… it’s blissful.” Leo sniffed the air that smelt h

I’ll pardon anyone of you who will show me the way to your so-called elder’s house.”Leo’s blood-curdling voice made the guards cower and one of the guards stepped out showing his volunteer, “I will show you the way senior master, anything to spare my life.”“No! Great senior master, I know the way to the elder’s harbor way better than this scramming dog!”Another guard jumped in front of the other one and a commotion soon began with the guards fighting for the volunteering position. Meanwhile, Leo looked irritated and he immediately snapped his finger, instructing the monster to do its ordained duty.A pile of cramped body laid on the ground within mere seconds, and Leo looked dejected to the core.“I think I’ll find the way myself!” He complained with an evil grin as he began to w

His face turned pale red and a couple of thick veins appeared on his forehead. A menacing laugh escaped Leo’s lips and he did not attempt to control it, “Give me ten reasons why this kid should not die in my arms?” “Please! He’s a baby who is even oblivious to his surrounding. He knows nothing! And by the way, I don’t remember knowing you, neither have I ever killed anyone….” “Shut up! You’re talking too much.” The atmosphere suddenly became silent as Leo’s eyes keened at the newborn who slept peacefully. The silence, however, was suddenly interrupted by a wail that vividly erupted from the child whose eyes flickered open and immediately began to tear up. “Please! Don’t do this to me.” Leo turned his gaze to the sobbing father who suddenly began to shiver in fear. The great dragon that hovered above his eyes gave him heartache as it mightily

Bel asked with a simple voice that mads Leo's formerly terrified expression change 360."Didn't you ever say you'd have magma as one of your most tiring creation? And... If I ask for anything related to magma you'll murder me?""Oh! So you're asking to be killed?" Bel's gaze turned dark and his chilling gaze did not hesitate to revive the blood-curdling feeling Leo thought had left him."Anyways, I'll be nice if you tell me what you want with it!" Bel continued as a devilish grin appeared on his cheeks, "Your death might be postponed." Leo looked hesitant, but had to give into the terrifying gaze. He sat on one of the pile of gold pieces that randomly scattered across the lair,"I wanted it to be a surprise! But since you're so insistive,""I intend on creating a beast, one that will have a sole moti
