2. The Owner Of The Fire Tattoo

His eyes opened with pain all over his body, king Altares who was lying on the small bed fell silent remembering what just happened.

Damn you damn iron horse he almost killed me he said when he remembered why he was in this place.

The King of the Altares looked around him, he was again amazed by the life to come. I don't know where he is now, his face looks confused seeing the machine that makes a strange sound.

King Altares got up from the bed “Arghhh… it hurts so much,” he winced in pain in his arm. He saw that his arm had a wound and the wound was covered by a white but slightly fibrous cloth. He quickly took action to heal his wounds using the strength he had. In an instant, his hand no longer hurt.

"I don't need this anymore," he said and removed the cloth covering his wound earlier. Yes, there wasn't the slightest sign of an injured arm, but it looked perfectly smooth with no scratches.

He stepped out to go out, currently, king Altares was on his way to find a place that would help him stay in this foreign country.

During the trip, not a single person blinked his eyes. They were amazed to see Altares with his charismatic and handsome face like a comic character that women desire.

"Not only was I always handsome in the eyes of everyone in the past, but in the future, I will also be the same." He smiled crookedly when many people recognize his good looks.

The journey was not easy and finally, King Altares arrived at the place his teacher told him about. He saw that the place was very scary, especially with the black clouds.

“I have to knock on this door immediately,” King Altares said as he caught his breath, he used to use his power to go anywhere, but now that the power he possessed was imperfect, he had to be good at keeping it.

King Altares also knocked on the red door that was currently in front of him.

Tok!

Tok!

The door opened suddenly but that didn't surprise Altar, because he had heard many stories about this place. The surroundings of this place were shrouded in magic, even king Altares could feel extraordinary magic.

His feet stepped into the house which was only lit by torches.

His eyes saw several heirlooms displayed in every corner, ranging from swords, daggers, legendary arrows, and others. But he was very sure that all of these objects contained magic.

He just kept walking and didn't expect this place to be so big, even though from the front it looked like an ordinary house in general, but when he was inside the ordinary house it turned into a cave.

"Altares, come here!"

His steps stopped when he heard a woman's voice calling his name, a voice that seemed familiar made King Altares look for the source of the sound but he was silent when he found a large mirror that looked so beautiful.

"Altares, I missed you!"

Once again the voice was heard by king Altares. He seemed hypnotized by the sound, especially Altares who missed his woman so he followed every sound he heard.

"I'm in this mirror, help me. Come to the mirror to help me!"

Just as he was about to step up and touch the mirror, he was suddenly startled to feel someone tapping his shoulder.

"Stop your steps!"

"What am I going to do?" asked King Altares in bewilderment.

"Forget it, don't bring that mirror closer because it's an evil longing mirror."

An old man who had just appeared in front of him dressed not much different from himself. "So I..."

"You are simply hypnotized by your longing, King Altares," replied the old man with a smile.

"How do you know who I am?" asked king Altares as this was the first time he had come to this strange place.

"Of course, you are very famous in the Pieceson area, even I would know how your life will be. But sorry Altares I can't tell you that."

"It's rude of you to say that!" growled King Altares angrily at someone who recognized him but didn't mention his title as king and wasn't even polite when addressing him.

"In this world, you are just an ordinary person, and if in your world you are indeed a king. This place is different!" he said leaving Altar speechless. "I know what made you come to my place."

"So how can I survive?" asked Altares, making Grandfather smile crookedly.

"Are you sure you're asking me how?"

As expected, he had come to the right place and person. It could be heard from the way the white-haired grandfather spoke that he seemed to know how the king of Altares managed to survive in this world and not experience the slightest hardship.

"Yes, otherwise why would I come looking for you Grandfather," he replied with a little annoyance. If that sword was in his hand then he would have directly stabbed that annoying Grandpa.

Fine, if you want to live in the same luxury as before without any problems then you will do the same when you become king, he answered with a very serious face. Meanwhile, King Altares wore a confused face.

"Don't talk in circles, just answer quickly!"

"You have to kill a few people every month to increase the strength you will have. But the people you kill are a select few. Where do you have to find and kill someone who has a fire mark on his right back!"

Altares nodded without question. The conditions are just that, very easy when it comes to killing, that includes food.

He had left that place before, but he didn't know where to go because there was no place where he would stop.

While he was walking, he accidentally bumped into a tall man. King Altares who just left without apologizing.

"Wait!"

"Apologize to me!" he said, glaring at Altares.

King Altares smiled crookedly the first time he saw the foreigner order himself to apologize.

"What if I don't want to apologize to you," he replied with a friendly smile.

"Of course, this is what I will do!"

Attacking king Altares with every punch but the man was no match for him.

Bugh!

Bugh!

Bugh!

The punches continued to be thrown repeatedly at the man who had dared to fight him. But how surprised Altares was when he saw the man's face turn into a strange monster with his whole body red.

"Who are you?"

"You should know who I am, but because your memory is a bit damaged maybe you won't recognize me, O my king," said the monster with a little unclear but still understandable by the king of Altares.

And suddenly when king Altares was confused and startled, the red monster hit his body and sent him flying away.

"Hahahaha... is this the only power of the king of death that many people fear?" The monster turned around so Altares who was currently in pain suddenly got excited to take this fight when he saw a mark of fire on the monster's right shoulder.

"You will die because you are the one I'm looking for!" The Altares King took out the small knife that Grandpa had given him.
