Chapter 31

Ernest looked at Paul, glancing at the muzzle which was still on his forehead, then a notification appeared in front of his eyes.

[Ting!]

[Situation confirmed. The “I Am Your Father” effect reactivated in the next 3 seconds!]

Not letting Paul blurt a word, Ernest had returned to his insane state, pulling the gun off Paul's hand.

Paul had guessed it before. He understood that it would never be easy to hunt down a ferocious beast with just a gun.

His thumb finger wanted to pull the trigger, but Ernest, with the effect reapplied, was faster.

He threw the sword, tilting his head back, and pushing the muzzle towards the storehouse’s roof.

Everything happened in just two seconds seamlessly as if he had done it thousands of times before.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three punchy noises of a gunshot echoed all over the storehouse. Instead of Ernest, it was the roof which was shot, leaving three holes.
