Chapter 22 – Too Much Money To Ever Notice!

Damon woke up groggy the next day. The mix of events the previous day coupled with the fact that he'd been awake most of the night studying the reports Elizabeth had provided him concerning the construction companies, had made him unable to sleep properly.

It'd been a matter of great disturbance to him that their headquarters could have been hacked into like that. Of course it was a construction company so there wasn't much to steal online.

Except financial records.

Which is what nagged him. He'd gone through all of the records for the past ten years and everything seemed to check out. Even the occurrence had been taken care of in a matter of hours.

He sighed as he began to get ready for the day. His meeting wasn't until ten and it was just nearly eight.

He decided that he would go down to the hotel cafeteria to eat. It would afford him the opportunity to stretch his legs, feed his eyes and most importantly, see Sonia again.
