Chapter 90: Deep and Intricate!

After several meetings with Alex Menard on his case, Bella flew secretly to Rome to meet with Damon. She faked her identity and came in as his mistress, with ways paved to covertly bring her in. She was brought in to Damon in his bedroom where she met with him and Brandley.

Back in Paris after the event with Alex, she secretly called Damon to inform him about her encounter with Alex and how he proposed for them to work together. Damon gave her the go-ahead to work with Alex and also instructed her to keep it from the knowledge of the other ladies.

They sat together to discuss the development from her end.

“Alex has a solid case against you, boss,” she said to Damon as they dived into their meeting, “He has evidence that ties you to the murder of Jack Pierce.”

“How solid?” Brandley asked.

“A shooter on scene, solid motive, and a murder weapon.” She answered, with the seriousness of the case evident in the tone of her voice.

“Alright, break it down,” Damon said to her.

She presented th
