Rafael had pulled the trigger before he reconsidered his actions but he was relieved even before he began to feel remorseful for shooting. All that was on Rafael's mind at that moment was how to get back to the point where he had his first battle with the beasts on his return to earth but the beast couldn't just let it's meal get away just like that so for every step he took backwards the beast took two.He evaded the beasts attack as much as he could it was still almost impossible for him to make it out of the woods. He turned to the beast which was coming steadily towards him and he shivered in fright. He was so sure that the beast to would utterly destroy him if it were to get very close to h I'm m but there was almost nothing he could do. It felt good slashing the throat of the beast which have caused him so much pain but slashing it was not all. The core was the real trophy given to anyone who is able to kill a beast but he didn't think he deserved it. It is factual that if it was not for him bursting the beasts eyes his servant beast wouldn't have been able to kill it but it was also factual that if it didn't come at the right time he would have been dead.He really needed to level up once more but his conscience was already dissuading him from taking the core for himself even before he placed his hands in the beast to extract it's core. Asides Rafael's sinister thoughts he had more reasons for wanting to spar with Regin. Since he knew he would be stronger than Regin and it would not be difficult to make him display the best of his moves and skills. Perhaps it will make him remember fighting skills and many other things he lost when they got divided and also learn new ones. Rafael was too occupied with his fight to notice that there was another huge fight going on inside the academy. When he heard the beast roars and growls all around, he had only guessed that a good number of beasts were around the glabour attacking it as they wanted to pull it down and not wanting the opportunity to kill many of the inverse army to go wasted some people were sent outside the academy to destroy them just before he arrived but at that moment, his assumption made less sense even to himself.
