Following the words of the voice, the faces of everybody changed with some of them displaying some pretty interesting changes.
Mostly everybody was surprised by this vice but in the case of young master Sharlene apart from being surprised he was also shocked and terrified. He suspected that the voice belonged to reinforcements that Clyde called and this puzzled him.
He was asking himself questions like, 'Has reinforcements come already, but it's been too soon. how could they have come so fast?'
'How did these cadets get past my signal block and call for reinforcements, in fact, come to think of it when did they send the call for help?'
'They have been fighting for their life all this time and with me harassing them from the side how is it that any of them would have been able to call for help without me noticing?'
Young master Sharlene was very confused regarding this situation and he could not find the answers to his question. The thing was that h
Unexpectedly our handsome youth that was responsible for preventing Mouse from escaping was none other than our very own Arran. This was the role he was assigned to when Eris and the rest of the cadets had been coming with a plan to take down young master Sharlene and his accomplices. The plan was for the cadets to use the barrier orb that contained a stored barrier formation that could be utilized at any time. It was very similar to the array formation plates of the Dao practitioners that they would use to set up formations only that in the case of a barrier orb, it is used to store and contain an already formed formation. All that was needed in order to use this barrier orb was to place the required number of barrier orbs together in their respective locations and then release the barrier formation stored inside. After the cadets had deployed the barrier to trap everybody inside it did not end there as one of the shortcomings of the barrier orb is that because
Hearing the final deductions of young master Sharlene really surprised Eris as she didn't expect that he would have been able to tell all these using just a few clues that existed in the first place. It was quite terrifying really how smart such a person was especially since he was an enemy at the moment. This one one of those persons that it was better to befriend than making an enemy out of.Sadly young master Sharlene and the cadets were already st to be enemies from the very start as they had different standings from the get-go. While these differences were not to the point where both sides would try to kill each other at the first instance, nobody could understand the way the mind of a villainous lunatic worked, could they?Clap! clap! clap!Eris was clapping her hands together in response to young master Sharlene's deductions. She could not really help herself doing that as this was just one of those moments where you just had to appreciate someone, but it
It was not as if Arran was afraid of clashing head to head with Mouse, it was just that he felt that it was not really needed for him to fight him head-on just to keep him from escaping. If they were to fight head-on Arran was very confident of being able to defeat Mouse especially after seeing all the moves and abilities that Mouse had employed in order to take him down. Even if Arran accounted for any abilities that mouse had not yet used against him and if he were to treat whatever ability that was with an excess amount of caution, Arran was still at least 80% confident of being able to defeat mouse, that was why he decided to save his strength for when he would have to eventually contend with Clyde and his group for that ripening bud. That's right it was not because Arran held contempt towards Mouse that he was holding back against him, no, it was because even till now when the situation had already come under control and young master Sharlene's group were about to
The results of this battle were as expected.Without any surprises or last-minute turn of events, young master Sharlene along with his accomplices Brock, and Mouse were defeated and captured. Everything ended as was predicted.Among the three of them, the person that was the hardest to put down was Brock as he really was a monster of a person and just as the people of his race were, he was a warrior that was born and bred for battle. It did not matter how tired or wounded he was, Brock did not admit defeat at all and it was only with the aid of Eris and Charmy who had already defeated young master Sharlene at that point that the cadets were able to tire and wear him out. that was the only way that the cadets could deal with Brock.Relatively Arran had a more relaxed time compared to the other cadets as he was only tasked to prevent Mouse from escaping which in itself was that not hard to do in the first place. Also since Arran was not strong enough to participat
In the dire beast forest where a major battle had just ended and another was brewing, all the cadets sat down in their own respective groups as they rested and prepared for the final struggle. The next battle would decide the true winners of this whole affair and they would get to go home with the ultimate prize. While everybody rested, they also made their own preparations and it was these preparations that would determine who the winners would be.The group with the most comprehensive and complete preparations would be the one to come out on top of the other so no matter the group they each took this small window of opportunity to rest and recover very seriously. While everybody was resting and coming up with their own preparations, Clyde was stuck with a dilemma. From the entire course of the battle, he had been able to discover some things that had left him deeply troubled.Clyde's discovery had opened his eyes to a plot that had been going on
Hearing such an ominous-sounding name from Mouse's mouth, Eris and the rest of the cadets were shocked. They were not surprised by the name being so ominous and evil as that was already expected just judging from the looks and abilities of this strange organism. What they were surprised about was that this strange organism was a Gu.Everybody who was just a little bit knowledgeable would know what a Gu was.Gu according to common knowledge was a kind of special organism that carried special abilities which were mostly poisonous in nature. They were mostly parasitic in nature and the abilities that Gu breeds were always varied and unpredictable. The thing about gu was that they were in themselves special existences that could either be grown naturally or cultivated artificially. The cadets had never suspected this strange organism to be a kind of Gu. Because of the nature of Gu, they were mostly never the same with each other and their abilities wer
Would they have behaved as young master Sharlene had done if they were aware of the miraculous ability of this gu?Was that really a question that needed answering?Even now as the cadets came to know about the ability of the main body of the gu, provided that it was true... which it most likely was... then the only thing that was stopping them from rushing over there right now was the fact that they had always been trained by the academy to never let the desire for a treasure cloud their judgment and hamper their reasoning. The cadets had always been trained to exercise caution towards all things that were unknown to them in the universe because the universe... according to their instructors... is treacherous and always out to get you. If you were to ever let down your guard, even for a second, then no one knows what the universe would throw your way to strike you down. Should you be unprepared for it, then the only thing awaiting you was doom. Also, the
As soon as the vital essence blood devouring gu started showing signs that it was about to mature, it also signaled the beginning of the final showdown between Arran's group and that of Clyde's.Surprisingly, Arran and his group were not the first to make a move but instead, it was Clyde who made the first move.It happened so fast, too fast that before Arran's group knew it, Clyde and his group had already moved together in a tight formation and were approaching the vital essence blood devouring gu.It took just a few seconds for Eris to come to her senses and realize that Clyde had already made the first move but in that time they had already made it twenty meters before the vital essence blood devouring gu. In about a few more seconds Clyde would be able to reach the gu and get his hands on its main body.Although Eris had been caught unawares, fortunately, Eris had already considered this situation where Clyde would have to make the first move as it w
