When Arran met up with the gang again, there was an awkward expression on his face. He looked guilty for having left them on their own for the entire night. Arran was especially guilty towards Trapp... they were the ones that formed this group together in the first place, but somehow it seemed like Arran had left it all to Trapp to babysit the group by himself while he always ran off somewhere else to play.

As for the gang in particular, as if by tacit understanding. No one was looking at Arran in the eye as they all avoided his gaze and gave him the cold shoulder. It looked like everybody was really displeased with Arran for his callous treatment of them and they showed it clearly for him to see.

Looking at his companions that had followed him through this journey in Fort Crawford, Arran stared pleadingly at them with sorrowful eyes, hoping that his remorse would reach them. But unfortunately, as no one was looking at him, Arran's attempt at reconciliation ended in epic failure.
