2021-08-18 05:55:19Arran was sent flying by the undead knight who was in hot pursuit. The mount of the undead knight was also undead and it opened its rotting carapace and revealed a set of thins cicada wings that were filled with holes.
Arran did not understand the physics of it but he was pretty sure that in normal circumstances, wings like that should not be capable of flight. Unfortunately, not everything in the universe could be understood by science so Arran did not even bother to think about it. Instead, with a flap of his wings, Arran retreated, keeping a two-meter distance between himself and the undead knight.
At this distance, the undead knight would still be able to hit him with its attacks but it would also give Arran time to react.
Just as Arran was retreating and the undead knight was hot in pursuit of him, suddenly, Arran noticed the fireball that was in the distance which Daphne had condensed after so long finally start to move.
