Bidding War

"The stronger you are, the more benefits you gain... let me explain!" Trapp began.

"Have you ever heard of a bidding war?" Trapp asked Arran.

"Bidding war? Yeah, I've heard of it." Arran answered.

"Isn't it the process of two or more people trying to outbid each other by raising the offered bid for something until one wins?"

"Yes, exactly," Trapp confirmed.

"And so, what does this have to do with what you said before?" Arran asked in curiosity.

"Hear me out first... don't interrupt," Trapp said.

"As you said, a bidding war is the process of people trying to outbid each other. This is usually done by increasing the price of the bid offered until the highest bidder wins. But you  have to understand that there are some things you can't simply put a price on."
