Carrum said nothing else to arrange. They simply looked each other in the eye. At this point, Carrum knew that there was literally nothing he could say that would sway Arran. This was because he was already hellbent on fighting with him. Whether he was making an excuse to do so or Arran had really noticed his connection to the shades, it didn't matter anymore.

Arran and Carrum maintained eye contact for a second and in the next moment, they had already made their moves.
