Time was still moving forward and nobody would wait for either Arran or the audience to sort out their thoughts.

Just as the tentacle finally retreated into the ocean, in the next moment the surface of the ocean erupted and two tentacles flew out of it once again.

The speed at which the tentacles traveled was so fast that by the time they had breached the ocean until Arran noticed, they had already reached him and he was only left with a small window to reacts.

Thankfully Arran had never let his guard down for even an instant and he was able to just barely evade the attack.

As, soon as Arran evaded the attack made by the two tentacles he immediately started moving again as he flew forward in the sky. This turned out to be the correct move because unlike before, the monster hidden in the ocean did not wait until its two tentacles were retracted before it immediately used another two tentacles to attack Arran once again.
