Renee was no longer madly scolding Arran, instead, she looked straight into his eyes as she said to him.
"I'm sorry you had to put yourself in danger just to save my little sister and at the same time, I'm very thankful. Thank you for risking yourself to save my precious little sister."
Renee's words were firm as they fell into Arran's ears as was her gaze which unwaveringly stared straight into Arran's eyes.
Arran saw clearly that Renee was really sorry and thankful to him and it made him calm down from all the retorting he had been doing in his mind.
Knowing full well that she was being sincere, Arran could not bring himself to fault her in any way.
Nodding his head seriously, Arran said, "Hmm... it's alright. That's what teammates are for, right."
