The shade team leader escaped!
Fabian stared at the disappearing figure of the shade team leader for a time. He saw the look of hatred in his eyes and the desire for vengeance hidden in his cold, dark eyes.
For some reason, Fabian felt himself unconsciously shiver, but he caught himself in time and prevented this from happening. Finally, the figure of the shade leader disappeared completely.
Fabian sighed deeply to himself. He was feeling very regretful for not being able to kill the shade team leader just now and allowing him to escape.
After everything he had done to anticipate all his moves and counter them, the shade team leader was still able to successfully escape and now there was another enemy out there who hated him and was bound to seek vengeance on him.
"What the hell... let's just forget about it."
"It's not like I have no enemies who want me dead out there. He would just be joining a long line of them. I can deal with him later.

The war lasted for more than five hours. In the end, the Aeth successfully drove the invading shades away from their planet. When the last invading ship retreated into the abyss door, it signaled the end of the invasion. But that was not where everything would end...
