The long-awaited battle between Arran and Carrum had finally arrived. The two of them had been looking forward to this ever since their last fight had ended.
This was especially so for Arran.
Now standing before him was the opponent who he had wanted to face for so long now.
Arran could feel a budding anticipation growing in him even as he faced Carrum. Along with this was the feeling that he would be able to get some answers regarding the disappearance of his parents.
On the snow-covered stage, Arran and Carrum were standing apart from each other with a distance of 100 meters separation between them.
On earth, 100 meters was not a long-distance at all. At full sprint, a top athlete could run a hundred-meter distance in under ten seconds.
This was basically the limit of human mortals.
For the Aeth who generally had more physical capabilities than humans, a hundred meters would only take seven seconds at most. But for combatants at Arr

It was not like it was against the rules, either. If there was a rule against using borrowed powers, then most of the participants in this ceremony might as well pack up and leave and not participate anymore. This is because, out of all the participants were, most if not all of them were using one form of borrowed power or the other.Strictly speaking, a natal weapon was a form of borrowed power. Although this is a power that only one person could ever use in their lives, since natal weapons are bound to their owners for life, it was still borro

These voices were filled with doubt and disbelief as they watched Arran toy with Carrum on the stage."Seriously, this is unbelievable. Even a monster like this is no match for this Arran guy. For real, the Kingsmen are seriously overpowered!""I hear you... this is truly an eye-opener. it's even more unbelievable that this Kingsman is very young. From what I heard, he is not even twenty years old, and he is already this strong. With strength like that at such a young age, he has to be the strongest genius with the most potential in this generation, right?""Indeed, this Kingsman is really a talent, but I wouldn't go so far as to call him the strongest talent with the most potential. Don't forget that most of his strength is not actually his, but is actually borrowed. Also, his opponent might not have shown

Kingsman Return Dark Veil

Kingsman Return Defeated 2
Arran was right...Carrum had nothing to say about this. For Arran to be able to accurately guess the ability of the Dark Veil from just seeing it once, his perception must have been outstanding.Among the people who watched Carrum's last match against Joyner in person here, there were probably not more than a handful of people that had been able to guess how the Dark Veil worked. Among these people, Arran was probably the only participant to have done so. The others were mostly senior experts themselves and their strength should be greater than the average person. This means that when it comes to the aspect of perception, Arran was way ahead of his peers. This fact on its own was irrefutable.Arran's perception and sensory abilities had always been his greatest point. Now that he had the help of the [World Essence Pulse Bracer], Arran's perception had already become very fearsome. This was why he was able to make some guesses on the abilities of t

Seeing Poltergeist clinging onto him, Arran was confused before suddenly developing the urge to retort vehemently. But he wouldn’t have that time for things were just starting to go very wrong. The space within the void fissure was just that… a literal void where nothing existed but the vast expanse of space. But the stability of this void was seriously compromised allowing for multiple fractures in space and time to open up in the surrounding void. Due to the force of the vacuum that pulled arran and Poltergeist into the void fissure, the two of them were barreling through this space uncontrollably without the ability to stabilize themselves. Arran was too weak at the moment after having all his strength drained from him while releasing the Earth’s World Will. As for Poltergeist, she was also weakened. This was because she

Arran thought that he already understood what Soran was capable of yet only now did he know that he was yet to scratch the surface of all of Soran’s capabilities. Soran’s ability, Triumph, granted Arran the means to win. Before Arran thought it only made it so that he could meet his enemies power blow for blow regardless of the difference in the realm. But what if there was a situation where Arran was up against an opponent whose gap in the realm was impossible to cross logically? For instance, how would Soran ensure Arran’s victory if he was up against a god as a mere mort

Even more surprised, Arran looked around swiftly but he couldn’t find anybody around him. Then he thought of something and turned back to look at Soran who continued to tremble in the air. Indeed, just as Arran thought, as he focused on Soran, that call rose in his heart once again. It was as if something was reaching out to him through Soran from a mysterious place. Final Death Throes
Kasack was sent flying after being hit by Arran. His chest was sunken and bloodied from the barrage of staff thrusts delivered to him and a mouth full of blood burst from Kasack’s mouth. Kasack was severely damaged, his injuries extremely grevious. But the most severe blow done to Kasack was the blow to his mind and ego. Despite everything, despite all the preparations and plans he had made, Kasack still hadn’t succeeded in killing Arran, yet it was he who was left battered and on the brink of death once again. This thought, Kasack could not bear it. His previous shame which he had hidden beneath a well of anger and rage resurfaced once more, bursting onto the surface like an erupting volcano. Aaaahhhhhh! Kasack didn’t know who was screaming so desperately. In his daze, he heard a voice filled with fury and indignation. His mind was foggy from the impact of Arran’s blows and the bruise on his pride and ego. When the fog finally cleared a little, that is when Kasack realized that
