Firestorm

Firestorm...

This is a strong blaze that is very intense and destructive. A firestorm is usually accompanied by very strong and powerful high winds rushing in from all sides to feed it. In short, a firestorm is a large conflagration that is very powerful and impossible to control.

A firestorm could either be naturally or artificially formed but in general, an artificially formed firestorm would need a strong enough force before it could be created, and in order to generate enough force for this to happen there were generally very few options that could be used.

On earth, the most common method to create a firestorm was to use nuclear or incendiary weapons to bomb an area and the most famous example of an artificially created firestorm was the one that was formed in the Hiroshima bombing during the second world war.
