A powerful pressure filled the entire void, causing everything to freeze and come to a stop. For an instant, neither Fabian nor the rest of the Aeth soldiers or even the remaining shade could move their bodies. In the next moment, things changed and everybody regained control of their bodies.
As soon as Fabian could move his body again, he quickly retreated away from the shade leader and looked at him warily.
