Arran quickly made his preparations before setting off. With built up in his chest, Arran suddenly disappeared. In the next moment, Arran appeared in a completely different environment.
Arran stumbled a little when he appeared once again. He was not yet used to teleportation and it would probably take a while before that would happen. steading himself, Arran quickly looked around him. Taking in the surrounding sight, Arran was immediately stunned.
"Wow!" Arran uttered dumbfounded praise.
Arran could not believe what he was actually seeing. In front of Arran was a magnificent structure the likes of which he had never seen before. Arran was currently located in what looked like a docking bay where spacecraft landed and to offload their goods. He knew this because there were different kinds of spacecraft of various designs and class docking and taking off from the main hangar below.
Having seen the docking bay of the observation tower as well as the ones loc
Arran walked towards the gate that led to the main area of the space station. It wasn't too hard to find, since almost everybody was heading that way.The area where the entrance to the main area of the station is located was located at the central hub of the common area. In this place, there were various major businesses and establishments set up to cater to the needs of the residents here.As Arran walked, he saw many establishments that offered different services. There were shops that sold medicine, equipment, provisions, and random gadgets and gizmos. There were also many restaurants, taverns, and other such entertainment facilities located in the area.Sticking to his goal of experiencing life in the universe, Arran, like a true tourist, explored each and every establishment that caught his fancy. On the way, Arran browsed through various shops, perusing through the catalogs of products that were offered for sale. With curiosity, Arran would ask que
A hooded figure suddenly appeared out of thin air in front of Arran. seeing this figure, Arran panicked and immediately jumped backward, keeping some distance between himself and this figure.Arran was caught by surprise to discover that the figure had appeared very close to him. The distance between Arran and this figure was only three meters apart. A distance like this for an expert was no different from being just an arms-length away. People like Arran could cover this distance in an instant and take a person's life without them knowing what hit them at all.For this person to be able to get so close to Arran without his knowledge, it was a testament to just how much stronger this figure was compared to Arran.Arran was already starting to regret provoking such a powerful existence.'Why didn't he just go to the main area of the space station where his safety would be guaranteed?' Arran asked himself. Why did he have to insist on challenging thi
"Hahaha!"Wild uproarious laughter suddenly burst out in the small alley where Arran stood in confrontation with his stalker. The sound of this laughter was like a spring breeze, suddenly blowing away the cool atmosphere that lingered between Arran and the hooded figure.Hearing the waves of laughter that came from the hooded stalker, Arran wore a dumbfounded expression on his face. As he stared at this person who had suddenly started laughing for no reason, Arran began to worry that he has come across as a crazy person.'What the hell!' Arran remarked in his mind.'This is more serious than I thought! Can he not take it because I rejected him outrightly like this, which is why he is laughing so hysterically?''This is very troublesome now. What am I going to do if he suddenly goes mad and attacks me all of a sudden? I have heard that people can act crazy when they face a shocking rejection. In the end, have actually antagonized him and made him an
Arran was in a foul mood... nobody liked another person showing them up, especially when you felt like you were no better than that person. feeling discontented, Arran looked at the young man resentfully. To this, the young man only smiled brazenly as he asked, "So what do you think? I'm not necessarily less handsome than you are, right? Wouldn't it be a waste if all these good looks are kept away from the ladies? I couldn't possibly go after a man who's uglier than I am, right?" Hearing the young man's words, Arran cursed him in his mind for being shameless. Arran had always thought that he had sufficiently thick skin, but he was slowly realizing that this young man had thicker skin than he did. His skin was even tougher than a rhino's. Probably nothing could get through that layer of thick skin. Arran wore his heart on his sleeve and his emotions were not hidden from the young man at all. That is why he was able to know that Arran was feelin
Arran was willing to listen to the young man, so he immediately started talking. "First of all, let me say this. You are extremely terrible at keeping a low profile." The first thing that came out of the young man's mouth was an insult to Arran. This caused Arran's brows to tighten into a frown. But he did not say anything. Although Arran was confident that he had cleared his tracks well and hadn't drawn too much attention to himself, the young man in front of him was proof that he had not exactly done as good a job as he thought Seeing as Arran did not react to his insult in any manner, the young man became more confident and boldly started saying. "Indeed, just as I said, you suck at keeping a low profile. Did you think I was the only one following throughout the station? With the way you were going around looking through the stalls and buying whatever caught your eye, anybody could tell you were a complete novice on his virgin journey throu
Arran and Trapp introduced themselves while shaking hands. It was at this moment that the two of them could be said to be formally acquainted. After the introduction, Arran looked at Trapp and said, "Listen, brother, I hear what you say and indeed, it will be a problem for me if I am harassed constantly by all sorts of people.""While I am confident in being able to handle any issues, I would rather stay away from problems if I can help it. I could really use a hand, but I don't see why I have to go under your wing in order to receive your protection.""I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm not exactly afraid for my life and I don't even have to fear that any harm would come to me. Why then do I have to call you big brother?"Arran's words were clear. This time, he was straightforward with his words, not beating around the bush at all.Responding to Arran's words, Trapp placed his palm on Arran's unoccupied shoulder and said, "Young man, s
Arran eventually bit the bullet and took Trapp up on his offer. Currently, he and Trapp were making their way towards the entrance to the main area of the station. As the two of them walked in the crowd, Trapp went back to donning his heavy cloak with his hood placed over his head to hide his face. As for Arran, he had dug up a black scarf from somewhere in his storage, which he used to cover his face.Having learned from his previous mistake, Arran didn't want to be as ostentatious as before and draw attention from others. As for Trapp, it seemed like he was already used to hiding his face a lot, as it had already become a norm for him. Arran felt that Trapp did this not just to hide his handsomeness. It was probably an occupational hazard since, due to the shady nature of his work, Trapp was used to being hidden. This made Arran more curious about what Trapp did for a living.Anyway, Arran was not too concerned about this. As long as Trapp did not try to harm
Arran and Trapp joined the queue and waited for their turn to register. The line was really long due to countless people constantly trying to enter the main area of the station. The registration process to enter the main area of the station was fairly simple. One just needed to provide a public identity that could be investigated before you would be allowed access to the main area. This was probably a way to keep track of everybody who enters the main area, so no matter one true identity that is hidden in the dark, they had to at least provide a public identity that is easily investigable. This was the only condition, and it was non-negotiable.Hearing such a strict requirement to be granted access to the main area, Arran was even more curious about what specialties the main area offered. From all the fuss over registering and paying money to buy a ticket, there ought to be something truly remarkable inside if it could draw so many people from inside the ether a
