The group of six made their way west of the dire beast forest to the plains that spanned a few thousand kilometers and bordered the dire beast forest to the east and opened up to the barren snow-filled mountains ahead.

Along the way, the group came across other foraging beasts.

From the mild and docile grass eaters to the fierce and imposing hunters of the wild, there were a vast variety of dire beasts to be seen in the wild plains.

Most of these dire beasts that could be found in the periphery of the plains were generally weak and could at most equal a seeker in strength.

For Arran, these were the most perfect opponents for him to train his combat instincts against.
