By now, the cadets had already dealt with the monster with the help of Arran’s unit, who broke into the glass cage to assist them.

Despite Arran being weakened, his boundary still persisted, as its activation wasn’t affected by any conditions. As long as a Kingsman wanted, their boundaries could continue to exist, even if they were dead or unconscious. It would also still maintain the last effect it had by feeding off the energy in the universe.

Without their troubling regenerative ability, the tentacle monsters were nothing to the cadets who weeded hem them out in short order.

After the battle ended, the cadets checked the rest of their inventory to see how many supplies they had remaining.

“Leader, we are almost out of ammo. Most of us used our last energy cells in the battle and can’t participate in subsequent battles.”
