There was chaos everywhere as people tried to find somewhere safe to hole up in. Arran and his parents were among the people that sought shelter but unlike those that were running around in a panic with no destination in mind, Arran and his parents retreated in an orderly manner that showed they had experience in unexpected disasters like this as they headed to a place they had already marked a long time ago.
It didn't matter that they had left their previous life behind, it had already been a habit to seek out an escape route where ever they were, but as bizarre as it seemed no matter how they moved to avoid the hail of ice and no matter which building the family of three wanted to seek shelter in, the hail always seemed to pursue them preventing the three of them from finding safety.

There are many more adventures to share with everybody. But I decided to end this book here because I felt that it had reached a mature point and it was time to evolve the story to something more. Arran was sucked away into the void fissure which closed immediately after, but not before Poltergeist had managed to latch onto his thigh for whatever reason.
