Arran and Vice Dean Hubert came out of the council building after they were done with their business. Looking back, they hadn’t spent a long time inside.

For Arran, this was probably the first time he was here and without having seen any of the thirteen members of the royal council. It felt a bit strange to him now that he thought about it.

Arran didn’t dwell much on this thought. After giving the council building one last look, Arran turned to Vice Dean Hubert and asked...

“So where do we go from here, Vice Dean?”

Vice Dean Hubert answered, “There is a port on the south side of the city where we will board a shuttle that will take us across the ocean to Diaphelim, which is the closest city to our destination. From there, another shuttle will take us over the Central Canyon where we will have to charter a seafarer that will take us to the Central Canyon directly.”

“The journey will take about sixteen hours so you can get some rest while we are on the way.”

Sixteen hours?

But Arran was not resting... instead, his consciousness had entered into his dreamscape to explore the changes that occurred after his evolution ended. As soon as Arran entered the dreamscape, everything about it became as clear as day to him. He could completely feel the existence of his dreamscape, like he was looking at the blueprint of an entire world. In the void of Arran’s dreamscape, there was a parallel plane of existence that hung in the very center of the void. The plane of existence had if vibrant waves of law fluctuations that spread across the entire dreamscape like a beacon. It affected everything around it, as if giving off a fatal attraction to all things in existence. This plane of existence was Arran’s first dreamscape, the reality dungeon. Like everything else in the dreamscape, it too had changed following Arran’s evolution.Unlike the second dreamscape that had become the center of Arran’s reality gate, the reality dungeon was integrated into the dreamscape world and had become an independent plane of existence with its own complete system of rules.Basically, it had become an entire world of its own instead of just another dreamscape.Fundamentally, the basic function of the reality dungeon had not changed. It was still a plane for training one's combat ability. But this function had expanded to include much more t

Arran opened his eyes and was greeted by the interior of the shuttle he was riding in. He quickly sat up and rubbed his eyes. Somehow, the migraine from almost having his head split apart in the dreamscape still transferred onto Arran’s real body. This just goes to show how much his dreamscape could now affect his real body after it evolved.“Are you feeling alright?”Just as Arran was lamenting his dismal fate, he suddenly heard a voice asking him a question in concern.Turning to the side, Arran saw Vice Dean Hubert looking at him closely. There was a hint of worry in his bespectacled eyes and Arran could sense waves of concern wafting out of him intermittently, like signals in a turbulent storm.Ever since his evolution, Arran had become more sensitive to everything around him. He noticed that everything emitted certain frequencies of signals and by reading these signals, he could intuitively get a feeling of those things. This was an effect radio wave emissions had on Arran’s curr

  • Kingsman Return   Sudden Embarrassment

Probably the only exception to the rule was the Central Canyon, which was the home of the Gullans and Diaphelim, the closest city to them. There were no portals that connected directly to these places, so one had to take a shuttle to get to these places. But as Arran would soon come to know, both the Central Canyon and Diaphelim were not entirely disconnected from the rest of the planet. The floating island Diaphelim was built on was small compared to other islands Arran had seen before. It was not much of a city, as it was a small town located out in the boonies. The atmosphere here had the quaint quietness of a suburb, which was strange to Arran, who wasn’t used to it anymore after coming to the upper realms.Arran and Vice Dean Hubert disembarked at the port of the city, which was very close to the edge of the island. As the Vice Dean registered their arrival, Arran took the chance to observe his surroundings. At first, Arran wanted to extend his senses around the entire island to

  • Kingsman Return   The Center Of The World

After a bumpy but short two-hour ride, the shuttle arrived at the bottom of the ocean. But it was unlike anything Arran had ever expected. The Central Canyon was located at the bottom of the ocean, at the very end of this whirlpool. Arran had read somewhere that the exact depth of the ocean of planet Etherium was more than two hundred thousand feet below sea level. This was a depth that was impossible for ordinary creatures to survive in. Knowing the Gullans lived at such a depth, it had always concerned Arran how it was all possible. And now, after seeing the place himself, Arran finally got an answer.Arran had been to the underwater city of the kingdom of Vineta, which was located thirty thousand feet below sea level, but it had a barrier that was set up by the royal family to ensure the survival of the inhabitants of the city. But even with that, the city was as beautiful as any island city above sea level. This was proof of the Aeth’s remarkable ability to create habitable enviro

“The two primordial beings of light and darkness were born in the Etherium. It was their birth that elevated this planet into a high-level world with the most complete laws in all the universe, and this birth took place right here in the center of the world.”“You could say that their birth created this inner realm on the planet. As such, the primordial being of light used this inner realm as a blueprint to create the seven sub-realms. But in the end, most of the primordial beings' powers are tied to this place. That is why, when rulers officially take up their place on the seat of authority, it is done here.”“Also, every heir of the seven rulers has to come here to leave their names on the Akashic Record of Ruler’s Grace when they come of age. That is why we are here this time.”At the end of Vice Dean Hubert’s explanation, he finished explaining the origin of the inner realm located inside the core of the planet and the significance it held. From everything that was said, Arran und

Arran was finally alone with Vice Dean Hubert. Velar and the other Gullans had left after dropping them off at an independent building used to receive important guests from above, not before Velar left, a reminder for Arran to call him whenever he needed something. As soon as they were alone, Vice Dean Hubert finally turned to Arran and said to him seriously.“Alright, now we can talk. I’m sure you have a lot of questions, Prince Arran, so you can ask them now, and I’ll do my best to answer.”Immediately, Arran perked up and asked the most urgent question he had wanted to ask since he arrived.“What was all that about back there? I feel like I stepped into a minefield outside and would end up blown up with a single wrong move. Explain it to me.”“Oh, that! Indeed, you do need to understand a few things before I can explain the rest.”“First of all, what do you think of the Gullans? Or rather, how do you see their relationship with the Aeth?”Instead of answering Arran’s question, the

Arran was sucked away into the void fissure which closed immediately after, but not before Poltergeist had managed to latch onto his thigh for whatever reason. Seeing Poltergeist clinging onto him, Arran was confused before suddenly developing the urge to retort vehemently. But he wouldn’t have that time for things were just starting to go very wrong. The space within the void fissure was just that… a literal void where nothing existed but the vast expanse of space. But the stability of this void was seriously compromised allowing for multiple fractures in space and time to open up in the surrounding void. Due to the force of the vacuum that pulled arran and Poltergeist into the void fissure, the two of them were barreling through this space uncontrollably without the ability to stabilize themselves. Arran was too weak at the moment after having all his strength drained from him while releasing the Earth’s World Will. As for Poltergeist, she was also weakened. This was because she

It was then that Arran realized the cause of everything. In Arran’s hand, Soran lay there quietly, no longer trembling as before as if it had gone to slumber. But when Arran thought of how everything that just happened was all because of it, Arran was shocked beyond belief. Arran thought that he already understood what Soran was capable of yet only now did he know that he was yet to scratch the surface of all of Soran’s capabilities. Soran’s ability, Triumph, granted Arran the means to win. Before Arran thought it only made it so that he could meet his enemies power blow for blow regardless of the difference in the realm. But what if there was a situation where Arran was up against an opponent whose gap in the realm was impossible to cross logically? For instance, how would Soran ensure Arran’s victory if he was up against a god as a mere mort

It was the strongest legacy left behind by the old one which could not be inherited directly. This power was only meant to be used at the critical time of the conflict with the Aeth civilization. It was Kasack’s greatest trump card one that he was reluctant to ever use. Yet at this moment, In the face of death, Kasack unleashed this power knowing full well the repercussions of his action. Moan! Following Kasack’s mad ravings, a loud wailing moan echoed throughout the surroundings sounding like an old machine shutting down or large gears slowly going still.
