Arran listened to Jon's explanation of the events that led up to his and Sadie's handicapped battle in the arena. Hearing it, Arran finally understood what had happened.
Nodding his head, Arran was no longer bothered with the match setup. instead, he asked Jon, "So what was the outcome of the battle?"
"Who won?"
Hearing Arran's question, Jon's lips arched into a small smile.
Before he even answered, Arran already knew his answer. Indeed, Jon's reply was just as Arran had expected it to be.
"Of course, we won the battle," Jon said.
"It was not much of a problem for the both of us. Although our opponents were pretty tough to deal with, they were just that. We only needed a little more time than expected to defeat them."
Jon's words were not humble at all, which was unlike how he usually seemed most of the time. Still, Arran smiled, hearing that they won. He felt gratified for them, even though he hadn't been there to watch them fight.
Arran and his group directly skipped through multiple levels and directly went to the eighth level. They stopped at the 800th floor before stepping out of the elevator. As soon as Arran and his group stepped out of the elevator, they were greeted by a marvelous and wonderful sight. To Arran, the scene on the 800th floor was actually quite familiar.Sprawling mountain rich with lunch vegetation floated in the air under the influence of powerful magnetic force and a beautiful blue ocean lay below the mountains creating a fantastically backdrop straight out of an immortal painting. To Arran's surprise, the 800th floor was like a miniature version of the Etherium, complete with floating mountains, a deep blue ocean, and powerful magnetic forces pervading the entire area.As soon as Arran stepped into the 800th floor, his body started to cheer like it had just returned home and his senses, which were especially buggy in the strange environment, began to height
Arran recognized the race this woman belonged to. She was a Silthrope, a race that was regarded as one of the most beautiful and charming races in the universe... it was no wonder she had such an effect on people with only the simple movement of her body. The thing Arran wanted to know was what she wanted to do with him and why she waited here for him to show up to meet him. There was no doubt in Arran's mind that this woman's target was his. Arran was not being narcissistic or anything. It is just that ever since rocky reminded him that his identity was likely exposed to some people; he knew that he would be disturbed sooner or later by those that wanted to approach him. There was already the case of Elena who was sent to spy on him while building a good impression on Arran. since somebody had already been placed at his side, it made no sense that the person who arranged all of this would not show up, eventually. In Arran's mind, this woman was likely th
'Galen?!' A look of surprise and confusion flashed through madame vera's eyes as she looked at Arran doubtfully. according to her knowledge, among the seven Kingsman families, there was no one with the last name Galen. Due to the fact that Arran's information and details were hidden even from the upper management of Fort Crawford, nobody knew exactly who Arran was. they could only confirm that he was a Kingsman since it was not long ago that he participated in the chosen ceremony. Madame Vera had been hoping to determine Arran's identity through his last name. At least even though she still wouldn't know who he was exactly, she would be able to confirm which of the seven Kingsman families Arran belonged to. Unfortunately, as there was no Kingsman family with the last name Galen, madame vera was caught in a dilemma. 'Is it really as people have guessed and this child is a Kingsman that does not belong to any of the current existing Kingsman fam
Hello everybody... your favorite author here. So good news. We've finally hit a million words written as of a few days ago. After Elena briefly introduced madame vera's identity, madame vera quickly interrupted and said, "That's enough Elena." she said to Elena who bowed her head and kept quiet. Then madame vera turned to Arran and said, "Please don't mind Elena, young master. How can I be compared to an illustrious young talent such as yourself? I am nothing but a humble servant of this establishment and it is only by the grace of the Aeth civilization that I am able to enjoy the current position and authority that I hold. For that, I naturally have to come to pay my respects when a distinguished Aeth like you arrives at our doorsteps.""I am only doing my job in receiving you, as it is my responsibility as head of hospitality and foreign affairs."Madame vera spoke humbly to Arran as she tried to downplay her position and authority before Arran. She made it seem like her position was actually given to her by the grace of the Aeth civilization. Which, in a way, it was.Due to
With a belly full of resentment, Arran flashed a beaming smile at madame vera as he said to her, "Madame, you flatter me. I'm just a young man who is out to enrich himself and experience life in the universe. I do not deserve such praise from you."Arran said all this as he moved forward to straighten madame vera from her bowing posture. Not mentioning the onlookers that were paying attention to the scene here, even Arran could not bear to watch a beautiful woman like madame vera lower her head to him like this.As a pro-feminist male who advocated for absolute gender equality, Arran would definitely not allow a fair woman like madame vera to lower herself before him when he didn't deserve for her to do so.After raising madame vera up, Arran squeezed her shoulders and leaned forward a little to whisper into her ears."If you don't mind, madame, but I don't think it is appropriate to discuss matters here in public like this. Is there any place that we cou
Madame vera was excited...Arran's various reactions brought constant waves of surprise to the beautiful woman, making her interest in him soar. To her, instead of meeting a person who was quick to succumb to her temptations, madame vera preferred Arran the way he was now. It was better this way, as it gave her more to look forward to as she attempted to seduce Arran.Still, madame vera was not in a hurry to sink her claws into Arran. Too much effort was just as bad as not enough effort at all.In order to hook in the big fish, one had to leave the bait dangling in front of it... the more enticing the bait was, the more the big fish wouldn't be able to resist.Madame vera wasn't yet done with her performance. There were a lot of means she had yet to use. what Arran was experiencing now was just a taste of what madame vera had in store for him. After allowing Arran to get some distance between them, madame vera eventually responded to Arran's earlie
Madame vera led the way while Arran and the rest followed behind. Arran was only three steps away from madame vera so they were still within earshot of each other. Along the way, madame vera naturally did not forget to converse with Arran in order to get closer to him.The place Arran had appeared in was the entrance of the 800th floor. It was a large floating island situated in the sky high above the ocean below. There were artificially generated blue clouds and various flying creatures of varying sizes, ranging from small pigeon-like birds to enormous creatures the size of dinosaurs. These creatures were very docile as they moved gently in the sky, stirring the wind with their wings as they flew. For a place that was most likely designed to mirror the environment of the Aeth homeworld, it was pretty well done and the attention to detail was fantastic. All of this told Arran that this floor was definitely not simple at all compared to the other floors in the auction.
