So for the past month now, I was taking this time to prepare another book that I was going to use to participate in the latest contest on Meganovel. It has taken a lot of work to lay the groundwork for this new novel and it has affected my normal upload schedule. For that, I am sorry. Now I am done with that and it will be added to my current books. I hope everybody can check it out and support me.
The name of my new book is: Brothers Together: Us Against Doom.
Don't forget to check it out, okay?
Currently, I have four books that I am writing and I feel like I may have bitten off more than I can chew with them. But I promise to continue uploading at least one chapter daily for all four books... at least I will try.
Please bear with me on this one, okay?
Thanks for your understanding and support and a wonderful reading to you all!
Arran, Trapp and Elena continued to tour the 500th floor for a few more minutes. Unfortunately, nothing else managed to catch Arran's attention, so, after a short while, they finally decided to rest.Following Elena's recommendation, Arran rented a small island on the 500th floor that would serve as their base of operations here until they moved to other floors.Once everything was set up, Arran informed Sadie and John about this arrangement, then he went to his room to rest. As for Trapp and Elena, he left them to their own devices.Arran's room on the island was very spacious. Although it wasn't as large as his room on the upper floor that was assigned to him by the auction house, it was enough to meet array's needs. There was a training room and a meditation room that had been built with an energy gathering formation inside. There Arran could charge the formation with an energy stone and enjoy the benefits of absorbing rich amounts of essence filled en
While Arran secluded himself to study the knowledge and insights about the laws recorded in the iridescent law crystals...Somewhere on the 500th floor, Sadie and John were currently located inside a magnificent arena. The two of them were in a small room that was equipped with various equipment for rest and recuperation. There was also a weapon and armor rack located in the room. The two of them were seated on a long bench across from each other, and they both had solemn looks on their faces. especially Sadie... she looked like she was about to face a great battle, which was actually the case. The truth was that Sadie was about to fight in the arena. She was participating in a bidding war where she would have to face off against her opponent to win the bid for an item that was being auctioned on the 500th floor. For this battle, Sadie had been the one to initiate the bidding war and the item that she was fighting over was a small round shield that
After Sadie stepped through the door, she appeared on the arena stage where she would be fighting her battle. As for John, since he wasn't scheduled for a fight, he appeared on the viewing stands where he could watch Sadie's fight. As soon as Sadie appeared on the stage, a loud wave of cheers from the audience, who were there to watch the battle, sounded throughout the arena. There was a large crowd of viewers in the stands who were there to enjoy the battles that happened in the arena. As the second most popular place in the whole of Fort Crawford, the bidding arena welcomed a lot of fights every day, and people would always be around to witness the fights personally.Although it was possible to watch the fights happening in the bidding arena remotely from anywhere in the main area, most people still preferred to be physically present to experience the fights for themselves.Sadie ignored all the cheers and pushed it into the background. As soon as she e
Sadie stared at her opponent, and her killing intent started to overflow. Her eyes went cold and icy, giving off a chilling glare that could freeze others in place after taking a glimpse at her.An icy sensation spread through Sadie's limbs, traveling to her head and entering her brain. Her thoughts receded, and she entered a frighteningly calm state. Before, Sadie's eyes were filled with confusion and intelligence, but now those icy blue eyes were as calm as a pristine lake without any ripples at all.Sadie's expression was deadpan and emotionless. The swordsman frowned when he noticed the change in Sadie. For once; he looked very serious as he stared warily at Sadie. as if understanding what had happened to Sadie; the swordsman sighed regretfully and spoke up in a solemn tone."You're quite vigilant, aren't you?""Do you really have to go this far? Can't we just end things simply without creating a big mess?"The swordsman's words garnered
Trapp came to sit beside John, who was attentively watching the match. Feeling that somebody had taken the seat beside him that he had reserved for Trapp. John turned around to see who it was. Upon spotting Trapp, John hurriedly greeted him."You're here," he said simply."Yeah," Trapp replied. then he turned to the arena stage where the battle was ongoing and asked."How is it?""They've been fighting for some time, but you haven't missed much," John replied."Oh... then how is her opponent like?" Trapp asked."Very troublesome," was John's reply."He has a way of messing with people's minds, causing them to lose focus and their minds to wander in battle. This can be very fatal normally, but with this guy it is especially so." John elaborated."He specializes in swift sword attacks and can mobilize gusts of sharp wind blades to attack his opponents. Sadie has already fallen at a disadvantage from the very beginning. But she's
Back in the battle...After the first exchange of strikes, Sadie and the splinter swordsman had already exchanged a few more strikes with each other and, after every clash, Sadie would be covered in more cuts and injuries. These injuries were opened and closed continuously by the wind blades, but as Trapp had analyzed, not much blood came out of the wounds and Sadie was not too affected by them at all. After every exchange of strikes by Sadie and the splinter swordsman, Sadie would always end up in a miserable state while the swordsman seemed to be unscathed. It was as if he was not affected by Sadie's attacks in the slightest and he was always able to avoid danger with his extremely fast movement speed.Watching the fight between Sadie and the splinter swordsman, it would seem as if Sadie were at a complete disadvantage in the battle. But that was not actually the case.Looking closely, after every exchange, Sadie was covered in tiny cuts that bled, but
The battle between Sadie and the Splinter Swordsman, Cell, was reaching its end. Almost everybody in the audience could sense this. If the people watching the battle could, it was especially so for the two of them involved in the battle. Both opponents knew that the match would be concluded in the next few minutes and a winner would be decided between the two of them. They both knew they had pushed themselves to the limit of their ability and had fought with everything they had. But even at that, none of them were able to triumph over the other. Now, after fighting for a long time, they were not at their peak state anymore and a single mistake could result in the match ending.Between Sadie and her opponent, Sadie actually seemed to be in a much better state than her opponent. Although Sadie's stamina had been significantly depleted, she wasn't as affected as the swordsman was.Right now, the swordsman was clearly having trouble keeping his breath stable
Sadie's opponent, Cell, slid down the arena's barrier, leaving a trail of bloody lines on the transparent barrier until he landed on the ground. After struggling to stand up for a few moments, his stamina was finally spent, and he collapsed in defeat. At this moment, the silent arena that had gone quiet when he was sent flying was immediately whipped into a frenzy and loud cheers burst out from all over, drowning the arena in a wave of hoarse laughter and roars. As soon as the swordsman fell in defeat, Sadie was declared the winner of the bidding war. The highlights of her battle were quickly displayed above the arena and on the live broadcast for all to see. It was a celebration of the greatest and most exciting moments during the battle that drew people's attention the most.At the same time, many people were cashing in their rewards for the bets they had made during the match. During this time, there were countless wails of agony from those who had lost big a
