Nobody had expected Joyner Wellington to lose and in such a terrible fashion, too. Not only was Joyner's defeat at the hands of Carrum completely unexpected, but the manner in which he had lost... the way Carrum had defeated him completely baffled the audience.

As a popular figure among the Aeth younger generation, Joyner's more iconic abilities were known to almost everybody. Of all of Joyner's abilities that were publicly recognized, there was one particular ability of his that was the most popular.

This particular ability was like a symbol of Joyner Wellington.

This ability was not only a symbol of Joyner's identity but it was also a signature move of his that made up his entire combat method, much like how Renee's signature ability was the Inch Transversal divine skill.

This ability was known as Obscure Shadow and it was a veritably powerful ability that could grant Joyner a brief period of invincibility, where he was able to ignore all attacks by let
